    Hunting? Well honestly, there are things to hunt in the city. Ryder doesn't eat humans, but nobody said anything about batting them around. Ryder is so delightfully direct.

    My next question is what was the half Fae boy impressed by? Was it Rory defeating the creature, Rory's looks, the sex Rory and Kieran had, or all of the above?

    Don't hassle you? May I sassle you instead? Of course, I can. Except I won't. This chapter was simply too good. Rory is filled with power. His rightful Fae heritage is drawing power from the very air. He is more than merely Fae. He is a Fae Prince and he is the living bridge between the Fae and Human worlds. Their ordeal isn't over, but my what fun!

    The volunteers at the rest stop were very helpful and kind. They really should be using some type of travois to keep the weight off of Norija's leg. Hopefully, they will find some help in the morning.

    No, the point is you said magic isn't an instant win button, except yeah it is. Rory has already used magic effectively in battle in a much more threatening and stressful situation than this one. Yet here he burns a guy's sleeve and seems pleased with himself. Also, there's nothing stopping them from going after them. Their horses are war steeds which are trained to follow explicit commands which these bandits wouldn't know. I'd tell them to halt. There must be safeguards to prevent thr enemy from using their own horses against them.
