    It's also evident Marco jumped to a conclusion they went farther in their sexual activities than they actually did. From Dani's musing about never washing his left hand (Yea Lefties!), they only pleasured each other by hand. It's not the textbook definition of rendering one's self non-virginal.

    I had to laugh at Giaco's proclamation he's Danisexual, but it's a good descriptive. From the giddy bliss of the morning after, Dani is abruptly dashed back into doubt by Marco's response to his news. I hate to pin purely selfish motives on Marco, but his diatribe of anti-Giaco was pretty savage and it hit Dani hard. I hope it doesn't last long for Dani, but we still have a way to go for it to play out.

    I never hear this word without thinking of the BBC broadcast on June 5, 1944. "Wound my heart with a monotonous langour" was code to the French Resistance D-Day would begin within 48 hours. It's particularly poignant on Memorial Day.

    Oddly, they raised it to 18 from 16. Alcohol consumption laws don't apply in homes and in restaurants they won't card kids with their parents. The consumption laws aren't enforced at all at public events like fairs, markets, or concerts.

    @James CarnarvonYou ask who finds a life partner at 13/14? According to someone we both know, Gianni/Angelo, Toto/Mic hele... Seriously though, it does happen. It was even more common back in the days when people didn' live so long, 15 was considered old enough to go into battle. It's also why you can find old age of consent laws with very low ages.

    It's a little bizarre seeing all of them cheery so soon after the last blood soaked chapter. Who helps Tchama attach her weapon arm and where does she keep it? I'm not sure opening up Xin is the best of ideas.

    I share the same concern. Marco is a special boy and is one of my favorites in this series. He deserves someone who will adore him.

    This has been difficult for both of them. I believe in Giaco's case he loves the person and Dani just happens to be male. We have a perfect match.

    The biggest issue I have is that they ALL are enjoying what they are doing entirely too much. How does this differentiate them from any mass murderer? This was no 'fight for survival' because their foes were slow, unarmed, and incapable of strategic or tactical thought. Understand this is coming from someone whose friends consider me to be cold and merciless. I also don't believe your idea of having the ones Lahari cured suddenly attack very realistic. They've been saved from a terrible existence. My belief is Lahari has the ability to absorb all the eldritch energy which created each Messiah and make them human again.

    While going on the camping trip up the mountain was magical, romantic, and symbolic, they didn't need a place to be alone at the moment with no one being at Giaco's. However, this chapter was perfection as they both shed their doubts and fears.

    Sadly, I've found the Postal Service's sense of duty and diligence has nosedived in recent years. I find myself hating my mailman and he has no clue what a bad thing that is. I can vouch for how earnestly robins defend their nests. One of my cats was continually dive bombed and pecked on the head while trying to mind her own peaceful business.

    I understand the need to be rid of the Messiah cult and these addicts of Gunge have become soulless with little mental capacity, but I have serious issues with this chapter. Do they ALL have to derive such sadistic glee from the over the top mayhem they are inflicting? I find it disgusting. I also have issues with slaughtering the ones Lahari restored without considering the possibility they may no longer be Messiahs. How are they now any better than the Messiahs?
