We got a revolving sketch of where our characters are at, some at their maniacal best. I have the feeling Wren is trying to invoke whatever ritual made him his monster countless years ago. The only ones we haven't seen anything of are Kalian's sister and parents.

I'm glad you finished this. BTW- You don't have to be gay to publish here. While there are some coed prisons now, it's unlikely they would place a married couple in the same one. It is supposed to be prison after all. They would also only allow one on one visits, not two together. But overall, well written and a good ending.

It should be noted not all Native Americans or their tribes are poor. Some are incredibly wealthy, with one distributing $84,000 a month to each member. And for what it's worth, the Navajo are among the ten richest out of the hundreds of tribes. (They are number two with a net worth of $2.5 billion)

The appearance of Eleanora/Lothar was a surprise. We knew why the man wanted him, but to parade him around so openly is truly rich. Now we know Fran's backstory, he was badly served by all involved. No wonder his mind created the Fiend to shield him from the bloody vengeance which must come. This kingdom needs a judicious but ample application of wet work. Lothar will be busy. -
I hope he got the stable stall discount.

Bunting for babies are typified by hoods. -
So they might have had to use a wood stove to cook. I still don't see an issue with bringing their own food. It wouldn't be any different than a camping trip and Issac knew what to expect.

Highway names, like fame, can be fleeting. A former governor was traveling to our town with some friends. Before they arrived, he told them to pay attention to the highway signage and they'd see how highly thought of he was here. They did. The highway built during his tenure is now named to honor an actor.

A stall at the inn with hay for a bed. How luxurious, not. Humans truly do not rate highly here.

Well, those .36 rounds were only 90gr compared to a .44 or .45 which were 240 or 250. Yeah the small bullets can kill, but it's the difference between punching a pinky finger sized hole and a thumb sized one.

Even sharpshooter accuracy sometimes wasn't enough. Hickok shot a man through the heart and he was able to turn and run back inside a building. Another took shots from both his pistols and was still able to shoot back.

The instructions from Colt were to load all six and then put the hammer in the safety notch. They continued this recommendation even after many accidental discharges. The load five was a practical thing delivered by word of mouth.

Unfortunately, hurling them away wouldn't be sufficient to do away with Ronging and Lonklam. Of all the bio-shifts we've seen, Junta and Thech are the most unique. Even as mere children, their power is strong. -
The cartridge method basically streamlined loading the bullet, patch, and powder into one motion.

Yes, the same quick load method as a musket.

None of the guns we've talked about were quick to reload. Even the Peacemaker was tedious. It's why gunfighters and cavalrymen often carried more than one gun.

I will correct you on one point. Jubal's gun would be cap and ball in this time period. The cartridge conversion, and there were precious few of them, didn't occur until 1873. Even men like Hickok and Wild Bill Cody were still loading cap and ball long after then.
