The only investment either of them have here is a modest amount of time, some hope, and a little gas. We've seen some unattractive aspects to .Ryder's character, obsessive and quick to judge. He knows far more about Owen than Owen knows about him. There is little parity here.

Well, I didn't expect Ryder the Drama Queen there in all his judgmental glory, but he showed up like a black thundercloud at a picnic. This was a severe overreaction and it obviously hit a trigger point with Ryder. This is a Ryder problem, not on Owen.
