  3. Good one! Let's try this: Minimum protectors
  4. Approaching forty years now...still working on making it better. See: The Loving Relationship.
  5. What you describe is an interesting idea. I don't know where you might find statistics on bisexuality. I suspect that your qualitative arrangement, from the most homosexual to the most heterosexual, is significantly different from what a quantitative arrangement would be. I think we all accept that gays are significantly outnumbered by straights. But, statistically, bisexuals are probably outliers. That is to say true bisexuals are probably very few in number. Most straight men, happily married to a woman, may have experimented with other guys during their teens. They are not bi. They are not having sex with other men. In other words, I don't know. One thing I do know: Dennis is gay.

  7. Don't think Scar would have to drop it in. Just detonate it nearby to trigger an earthquake which would cause the volcano to collapse. Is the airport far enough away from any possible ground zero to permit an escape by air?

  10. Old Norse: Fylliz fiǫrvi feigra manna, rýðr ragna siǫt rauðom dreyra. Svǫrt verða sólskin of sumor eptir, veðr ǫll válynd Vitoð ér enn, eða hvat? ~ Völuspá, Poetic Edda poem, stanza 44 English: It sates itself on the life-blood of fated men, paints red the powers' homes with crimson gore. Black become the sun's beams in the summers that follow, weathers all treacherous. Do you still seek to know? And what? Jerry Clump is a dastardly devil and a pusillanimous polecat. That said, I was impressed that he had the foresight to buckle his seat belt. So, the clock is ticking; we know Scar's plan of escape. How will it all end? Do you still seek to know?

    HOME!

Welcome home. Take care of yourself.
  14. Well...the day is coming to a close and the family reunion has ended. This is my first chance to use the new system (It's cool!) and to wish everyone a happy fourth of July. Many thanks to our friends in Canada and the UK who took the time to wish us happy birthday.
  15. I thought you were going to write about frogs!
  16. Having now read Chapter 43, I can see some significance to Eric's inebriation beyond the lovemaking with Jansen. He would not have acted so boldly when he encountered Jerry if he had been sober. The scene between the two lovers in Chapter 42 left a clear indication of Eric's state. Is there significance to the tequila in coming chapters? Well done, goat!
  17. Another great chapter, Cliff! There's no end to the mischief Eric can get into. One more cliffhanger added; none resolved.
  18. Another great chapter, Duncan! It seems many of the characters are taking a long time to recover from their earlier wounds. Can Scott possibly heal all of them? I think not; someone else will need to rise above their own pain to soothe that of others. Can Matt do it for Luc? Will he realize that his own salvation resides in saving someone else? I appreciate the care and thoroughness involved in your writing. I only wish we didn't have to wait so long between chapters. But, when the wait ends, it is always worth it. Thanks.
  19. Great news! The best thing about hospitals are the exits. Take care. Best wishes for your continued improvement.
  20. If winning AUD 90 million puts you in such a quandary, I would be willing to help. Give me half and I will gladly assume half the burden it represents. If I ever win the Powerball Lottery here in the US...say USD 400 million (about $200 million cash)...I would contribute half to a charitable foundation that I would establish. US tax law limits charitable contributions to 50% of income. At a 35% tax rate, that would leave me with $65 million to live on for the rest of my life. That would probably be enough. I would have a lot of fun investing my after-tax remainder and the foundation's funds and exercising eleemosynary pursuits.
  21. I just did a search to see how many GA members are contributing to keep the site viable. It seems appropriate, even ironic, that at present there are a total of .
  22. I see a difference in Eric's three tequila-enabled gay encounters. The first two (Cody and Brandon) were instantaneous flings occurring after he drank the worm-infested spirits. In fact, the first one was deliberately initiated by Cody. The latest encounter, with Jansen, followed a significant number of preliminaries initiated by Eric. Indeed, the night they spent together may have happened without tequila. The drink may only have made it a bit more frantic than it otherwise would have been. CJ said: If that constitutes a spoiler, it got lost among all the cliffhangers.

Thanks for the update, Robert. Your success in fighting cancer is encouraging to all of us. Take good care of yourself. Mike
  24. I, too, knew a young man who was cutting timber and had a tree fall on him and kill him. He left a wife and baby behind. Glad it didn't happen to you. I have too much time invested in reading Changing Lanes. Just kidding.
