  1. Retired again? This is what? The fourteenth time?

Just curious, Dom...and if it's none of my business, say so. Is this the same guy you were with recently for about a year...the year when you didn't write anything? As a wise man once said "...maybe over is over and everyone should just deal with it already." If it's over, it's over and you can continue writing for your many adoring fans. If it's not actually over, then Milo may forget what's his name's name again. All the best.
  3. Chapter 6 of Splash on the Web has been released. Jack leaves us with a cliffhanger in this chapter, "A Two-Shot". Something big is going down and we have to wait for the next chapter. Oleg's case in nearer a solution, but Harvey Fine is still waiting for justice. Thad's big day has arrived. Enjoy the story. I sure did!
  4. Why not just dismiss it as a goat thing? Or a "blond" goat thing?
  5. Try as he might, Eric has screwed up. He has managed to say just the wrong thing to Jansen. He has shown his lack of commitment to any relationship even before one started. Meanwhile, back in Iran, the General is fulfilling his commitment to his son and the other prisoner. Here's hoping they escape both the Iranians and Scar's plan. Oh, that fable is just that...a fable. No frog is so foolish as to believe a scorpion...or a goat.
  6. Cliff James has released Chapter 26 of Changing Lanes. You may wish to read the Aesop (authorship uncertain) fable The Scorpion and the Frog as an introduction to this chapter. It is the story of the humble, trusting frog...always thinking of others before himself. Classics Illustrated version
  7. By your own definition, it is not a date: If your reputation precedes you, he will know it is not a date.
  8. The video kinda makes me nostalgic for break dancing.
  9. I noticed that the echidna is in the impact area.
  10. I wouldn't know. Frogs tend to avoid boiling water.
  11. Thanks. He isn't moving. He's going. Or, trying to.
  12. I have a question. Which direction is that goat moving?
  13. I believe that has changed again through a process called "devolution" which returned some power to a Scottish Parliament. I was in Edinburgh on July 1, 1999 when that occurred. It was a big surprise since there was, as usual, so little press coverage in the US. As for the cuisine...I'm trying to be polite...I prefer American despite it's unhealthy nature. I actually liked haggis, but doubt it would be worth the effort of preparing it in a home kitchen. When a group of Americans I was with was offered "prune salad" as an appetizer, I was the only who made that choice. Everyone else was upset when I was served a shrimp cocktail (prawn salad). It's funny how a little thing can color your thinking about a nation's food. I found some of the best English food in pubs. The first time I ordered a salad in a pub, I was served a bowl of lettuce...nothing else, just lettuce. When I requested salad dressing, I was given a little packet of mayonnaise.
  14. Kevin, you make it sound almost erotic.
  15. There are a number of programs which can be used to remove red eye from your pictures. I use PhotoImpression by ArcSoft. Here's your photo retouched:
  16. My butler cracks my eggs. Sorry, I have no idea how he does it.
  17. LOL. Even stale peanut butter may not be safe. Problems at the PCA plant in Georgia started in 2006. Do goats croak?
  18. Brown is beautiful! Kyle Vanden Bosch, defensive end for the Tennessee Titans, wears red contacts when he takes the field. He seems to think they are intimidating:
  19. Daredevil goat! Hope it's still there when you arrive.
  20. Recipe and other info here, Benji. Just to make sure everyone knows, goats are much more delicious than frogs. And, it only takes one to serve a bunch of people.
  21. Innocent? Goats are evil, foul-smelling, manure-spreading capra aegagrus hircus. That's why there are scapegoats. Who ever heard of a scapefrog?
  22. Leggo my legs, James.
  23. While attending the inauguration (or watching it on TV) did anyone notice the black SUVs with dark tinted windows that flanked Obama's limousine? I found out what they were: Video
  24. Careful of that peanut butter, Cliff.
