Chase, Having spent just a few days in Newport Beach, I think I understand something of the culture from which you come. It's certainly an affluent community. I think the people there are like people everywhere, rich or poor. Some are fun to be with; some are real jerks. I hope you remain active with GA. I hope you are inspired to write and share with us. Friends there may think you shouldn't share yourself online...dare to be different. Your true friends will remain friends. And virtually everyone at GA will be your friend. Some of us may say something with which you disagree, or even be judgmental at times, but we are still a friendly lot. Hugs all around, Mike

Mark has the right answer. Graeme's question is not quite right: Bell was a Scotsman who moved to Canada as an adult. So, how do you pronounce Graeme?

Exactly the way I pronounce it. The h in Graham is silent. It's not 'Gray-ham"

Trying to pull a fast one, are we? Graham is two syllables, not one. Graham flour is made from wheat. Gram flour is made from chickpeas, a/k/a garbanzos. Graham crackers are made from graham flour. Falafel is made from gram flour. Two different things - two different names - two different pronunciations. Why not just ask Graeme how to pronounce his name?

I've never personally known anyone with the name Graeme. I always assumed it was one of those British spellings that was pronounced like something other than it appears. I would pronounce it Graham, like a graham cracker. I do know several guys with that name.

I agree. Please take this the right way...if his sex with others is meaningless, perhaps his sex with you is also meaningless. Try to make it more meaningful. If he still strays, it is probably because the sex is all he is looking for. I wish you the very best.

I think you have missed the point, Sir. (May I call you "Sir"?) The more appealing performer won the contest. You can't be sure that all the homophobes voted against Adam any more than you can be sure that all the gays voted for him. Just because most Americans are not gay does not mean most Americans are homophobes.

You make some good points, Chris. You might say talent is no respecter of sexual orientation. I don't think Kris won because Adam is gay. He won because his performance appealed to more of the people who voted. If religion was the determining factor, the Mormon would have won last year.

Now you're trying to get the cart before the horse. The provisional certificate was issued after the chapter was posted. The only decision remaining to be made is the possible revocation of said provisional certificate.

Is the title of this chapter a little misleading? I can't see anything significant that has gone awry. True, Eric and Jansen hit a snag, but I don't think they even had any plans. As for cliffhangers...perhaps a provisional certificate of no cliffhangers is in order. The chapter had a relatively "soft" ending. Of course the volcano, the nukes, Scar's impending invasion, and a bottle of tequila are still hanging out there.

You might try this. I use a good gel applied to my hair while it is still damp after shampooing. After it dries, I run a comb through it which leaves my hair soft (not "crustyugh") and which stands up to all but the strongest winds. Experiment...it may work for you. Oh, I'm not anal about my hair; there's no need since it always looks good.
