i had no idea what "florida man" is, but based on what you're written, i can sort of guess. Since it's allegedly stealing the ambulance, i suppose she'll be charged once it's proven. Do you know why she was in a hospital gown, did she escape from the psych ward? We did the usual Friday stuff.. Shrink and then groceries. But since the store was sooooooo busy, Dan and i thought maybe we should do something mad, like go on Thursdays. LOL In the last few years at work, i never had a long weekend because i worked sunday. Always had to book a vacation day (if you could get one). Now i am on a VERRRRRYYYYY long weekend. Sorry, i'll stop talking about it.. But i hope people do get the whole long weekend. I saw our grocery store is open on Monday.. that's wrong. But the Contact Centre at the bank is open, too. So.. nothing is sacred anymore. Michael and Dan know i love cake. LOVE CAKE! But we don't have it much because of MIchael. He says .. eat cake but i just won't in front of Him. Anyway, they chose tiramisu because it's lower in carbs.. and it was sooooooo good. Happy boy. i'm glad you have decided not to kill or maim anyone. Going to jail really isn't fun, like they show you in the guidebooks. Stay out of there. 😜

Right? i mean, i already think Friday is Saturday and Saturday is Sunday because of what my shift was. Now.. yeah, i'm sure that'll be happening. hahaha

Seems the universe is confused.. so far my vpn has dropped out 3x and then our ISP went down for a few minutes.. i told it again i do need to actually do some work.. but i guess it thinks not so much. lol i'm not working too hard though..

Yeah, just biding my time .. my snr manager called yesterday and said just wind down, don't take on too much.. we're sorry to see you go. That was nice.

that is just so much crap .. on my job, i have a schedule, i'm allowed so many minutes a day to be off the schedule.. .my bonus is reduced if i don't adhere to my schedule. I have a number of buttons to use to show what i am doing... available, available on on queue, busy, if i'm busy, away.. like away at the washroom, break... like take a break . not break glass by throwing yourself out the window, Meal.. eating not cooking, Meetings and Training. Those have to be used in conjunction with the schedule. Also, the Bank blocks most websites, we are not allowed to look at anything really other than our own website.. which was also blocked for us at one point. i'm just used to it now but .. it's a pain. We haven't been asked to create lists about wasting time, there isn't room in schedule to write lists...lol

And that's another reason to make sure you have finished a story before you start posting it. Make sure it is well and truly done first. You are so right about this. i still bristle when i hear things i don't like, but i have learned not to react to it. i have learned to step back and leave it float around in my brain for awhile, think about it and try to see what the person was trying to tell me. i may ask questions about it. Not reacting lets me see and learn. Constructive criticism and coaching can help you, if you let it.
