Never been camping. i've slept outside but i don't think that's the same thing. Often i was joined by police, so i'm sure it's not the same thing! lol You make it sound like fun, however. i enjoyed seeing these families again. I am sure that Gus and Harry will have great times, but i'm not sure it will be forever. And you know what, i think that's okay. Life is not a fairy tale and most relationships don't last forever. But that's just part of life. Something i've come to realize in the last couple of years. Thanks for another good slice of The Refuge, Wayne.

therapy is great .. and painful.

i think it could help.. if you're focusing on your Plan, you're thinking about where your head is at. It may not stop it, but it could reduce how bad it gets or how long it lasts. i find that with Sanvello, it makes me think and do positive things to help myself.

We are both writing other projects, mine for sure you know of. I'm 1/2 thru ch 7 as of this morning. I think Wayne is in the same sort of area with his. I hope i can finish this one but maybe another 4 or 5 chapters? Not sure yet. Then we will have to look at Wild Maple Farm with fresh eyes .. i wonder if we will like what we see?

We're a bit stuck as well because well, we just haven't been back together to look at it. I think if we reread it now, we'll be pretty critical.

That happened to lots of creative people for various reasons, me included. The world was suddenly just changed, like someone pulled the rug out. i needed time to adjust. So did you but for you there was more, suddenly your job changed and you were needed more than ever. The story is huge and complex and i don't know if we can go back. i don't want to rewrite it all. But maybe i'm looking at it wrong. It's not finished not even close. It also hasn't been edited ...it defo needs that in a bad way.

A terrific response to the prompt set in our world of today. It shows the strength and resilience of the human spirit. I enjoyed it very much.

The strength and bravery of the human heart never fails to astound me. We find unknown strength when it comes to survival of nearly anything. Parents do all they can to shield their children, yet they know their super powers only extend so far. They know one day they have to let go and set their children free. Theirs is a bravery with no Silver Star. Good parents, teach, nurture, love and guide. Then the watch their progeny jump from the nest; hopefully to soar. Sometimes, some do not ... Your brother and sister-in-law could have tried to stop their next from taking that leap. They overcame their pain to do right by their daughter. A selfless, loving act. i have watched you and Phil Sir do all of this with your own kids and i admire you both.

There is no such thing as perfect happiness .. perhaps a place where you are or have been happy but even there you'll never be happy constantly. Just does not happen... to me, happiness is found along the road. The only destination we truly have in life is death.. the rest is islands of happiness, peace, love and joy we find as we move on. That's my thinking ... but we all have our own hopes, desires and beliefs.
