    Glad you liked it! I pretty much built the story around the ninja squirrel conversation, so that's my favorite part.

    I'm glad you enjoyed it despite the errors. Thank you for pointing them out so I could fix them. I guess I was more tired than I thought when I wrote it. I also imagine things went well for them after this.

    When a dark green SUV pulled into the parking lot, the Hawthorn Clinic lot held only two other cars at such an early hour. The older man with greying hair, who had helped Liam into his SUV after finding him injured on the park’s path and had driven him across the street to the clinic, came around the car and opened the door wide. He put the arm of the slight jogger around his shoulder then helped him slowly from the car to place his uninjured left foot on the ground. Liam leaned into his savior’

    The challenge of including various things into a story is a fun puzzle for me. A sweet short can brighten my day a bit, so I'm happy I was able to do that for you.

    If you like JRPGs, Tales of Symphonia and Tales of the Abyss are really good and most of the games in the series have interesting stories. The most recent one, Tales of Zesteria, has a pc version. I don't know if the PC ports for the others are any good though. As for short games, have you tried Stanley parable? It has interesting and quirky stories. If you want weird and short, I recommend Jazzpunk. If you like point and click games, the Deponia series has a decent and funny story.

    “Kirian!” A tall muscular man with short brown hair, dark tanned skin, and broad shoulders burst in the through the backdoor of the small farmhouse kitchen where a smaller lean man turned his head of reddish-brown hair away from the dishes he was washing. “There’s a snake in the garden!” “That’s a good place for a snake, Ty.” Kirian laughed at his panicked tough guy. “Maybe, it’s even a garden snake!” Tyler glared at his boyfriend for making fun of his reaction to the terrible creature.

    The awkward stumbling of the two men is adorable. Even though the are both uncertain, this is the start of something real. I look forward to you adding to their story.

    Seconded. Write what you want to or need to write. I, for one, also like dark stories and I'm sure some of your other readers do as well. If you write a great story, there will be people who would want to read it.

    It seems like the team is together and things are going to get even more interesting. The brothers ending up in a good place made me happy and I like how you handled them. :lol:Although, I don't imagine Alexi being in Daisuke's hands is going to end very well... Also, I like that Nobuyuki is quite the schemer.
