  1. Thanks for reading and yeah that’s exactly what I was trying to go for. When I continue the series I hope to maintain that level of narrative.

    Chapter 28

Pffft. Excuses. Just kidding 😀 It’s so much easier than editing.
  3. Jeff Burton

    Chapter 28

Why these two go together I have no idea.
  4. Jeff Burton

    Chapter 28

Now it goes great with lavender so my whole place probably smells like Celia’s clean laundry 😂
  5. Jeff Burton

    Chapter 28

    I’m already on it.

    Chapter 28

You heathens leave my sandalwood out of this. It’s not my fault it’s the only oil left in the pack, like Stockholm syndrome it took a while to get used to it.

    Bollocks

Yeah my family is traceable to the original Virginia settlements too before moving south.

    Chapter 28

    1. Button fly jeans are so cliche even for a gay story. Even for a gay cowboy story. They are the most cumbersome, troublesome article of clothing. How is a Chasity belt supposed to be sexy, because that’s what it is. Need to pee? Welp yer gonna piss yourself trying to get those bad boys open, wanna be sexy and get blown behind bales of hay? Good luck getting those open with an erection. just stop with the buttonflys. They aren’t sexy, they aren’t rustic. They’re covered in piss and vomit because you couldn’t get them open fast enough that night you got blackout. 2. Erect tents - most people where smart enough to erect then BEFORE they started drinking. The rest of us didn’t even bother bringing one, and barely remembered we brought a sleeping bag so we just slept where we passed out like real men. 😂 3. That small town spot - Generational drinking was a real thing, we learned the spots our fore fathers had, learned to drive on the same county backgrounds they did too. I’m amazed the cops never passed this information down because it’s not like they couldn’t know. Conclusion: I’m over here trying to be good and get triggered by buttonfly jeans. 😂😭
  9. I figured you’d like that. If Encrypted ever needed a promoter you’d be it. 😂
  10. That’s actually a fair description. And to be honest I tend to do this a lot with my characters to nail down some basic description so you have an idea but I leave it open so you guys can fill it in for yourselves. Sometimes your own imagination is better than anything I could come up with.
  11. It’s not borrowed. I mean Morgan made it himself. How? That’s probably a gruesome thought but intimacy would be a great reason to do it in the first place lol
  12. He’s definitely something lol.
  13. Yeah my detective story was for an event, and I almost didn’t participate. 😂 But this piqued my interest because of the story I wrote. I’m just glad I ended up rewriting parts of it or we would have had clashing Torres and Kim characters 😂😂 Its hard to keep track of them all across stories lol

    Chapter 28

No promises lmao. I might leave this one alone.
  15. Croydon, Surrey (Greater London) The grey November light filtered through the blind slats, turning the tiny flat a colour that was both dismal and damp at the same time. The previous night’s storm had moved on, leaving the area cloudy with more than a slight chance it would rain again. Morgan lay there for a moment as awareness seeped into his consciousness, staring at the ceiling crack he’d memorised sometime around the Thatcher years. A noise caught him off guard — soft but insistent
  16. I'm sold. (Yeah I'm easy sometimes.) I like the premise of this, it's one hell of a start.
  17. Jeff Burton

    Chapter 1

It's a really good story. If people haven't read it they should.
  18. Jeff Burton

    Chapter 1

I don't think I got to read it until after you came back and I saw it with the others. I read it after rereading Carter's Army.
  19. Jeff Burton

    Chapter 1

That was stupid cute. And I missed the dorks as well. It took me a minute to remember if I'd read their story and I was like wait yes I did read that lmao.
  20. We had that conversation earlier about filthy things and I just can't stop laughing because you did read it. At least I wasn't running for the sandlewood this time lmao.
  21. I keep telling myself that too but sometimes I wanna fight and wish someone would fight back.

    Chapter 28

Celia is seriously the ultimate mom. I'm not sure what I expected from her when she saw and interacted with Joel in his hungover state, but how she handled it exceeded my expectations. And that was probably due to how Joel handled it, by apologizing and telling her basically it wasn't going to happen again which is probably more than what she gets from the other three. Colt is definitely being more personable, and a bit more thoughtful. I think that friday night had more of an effect on him than anyone else, maybe he saw what Joel was capable of other than being 'just a dude that lives in my house.' And that last "Fuck me," might be prophecy if Joel isn't careful. If @Krista has problems writing it I'm sure @Jason Rimbaud can help. (Yep. Here we go again folks. <3)
  23. They are actually my favorite kind of people. Their energy is cute. 😂
  24. They are definitely going to leave a trail of something across England on this little journey. Morgan is going to probably out himself to more than one person just trying to keep Kyle from bouncing off the walls. Can you imagine this guy in a museum? 😂
  25. Probably in a day or so, I’m starting to let them sit for a minute in case I feel the urge to change something, at least it’s done in case I don’t 😂
