Trust me I get it. It’s been a beautiful adventure though. Next time I’ll write it for you it’ll be 90k tops, hit all the plot points, make everybody gush with the feels but with 3/4s less work 😂

Holy crap I just finished it. It'll take me another day or so to proof it and fix what I'm sure are a multitude of errors but hot damn and sweet hallelujah I have a good piece worth contributing with.

If this is the Gavin we see when Faith is busy, then Faith needs to be busy a lot more. And Colt needs a mood stabilizer, or at least a good belly rub who knows. I'm so still waiting on Gavin to catch Joel alone and be like "So have you porked my brother yet? Or is he porking you?" The more I read him, the more I feel he already knows. Colt probably would have figured it out by now if he didn't have a stick named Sierra lodged up his ass so much. And if we're getting close to the end of this story im going to be sad, because theres probably another 230k left in it but I know you can only do so much Krista. This has really been one of the good ones.

Mines coming along, I only rewrote part of it once so far. So you guys should have it by the 14th.

I feel kind of bad for not doing any sorry updates this week (or at least getting them published) and that’s my feel for 2025 as a whole lol. 2026 might be better, I found some stuff out over thanksgiving that my cousin gave me to consider so while that may end up being a little busy for a little while in 2026, it could solve some problems. We will see though. One thing is for sure though I’m done spending money on crap that doesn’t actually help me in the long run. And that goes for people too. Its time I did more for me than for others.

The one I feel the strongest about is Semi Charmed Life by @CassieQ. If you read my comments on it may seem like I hate this story and maybe part of me does, but the truth is I’ve read it over and over many times just because of how it messes me up. To me that marks it as one hell of a story, and one hell of a read. I cannot recommend it enough.

This is absolutely lovely. I was hoping he would agree to play again. I get that he feels that it seems wrong but in the long run getting back into something he enjoys and is good at will help him. I was in the process of eating a sandwich when Cole basically outed Joel and I had the same reaction Davin did. I half expected him to reply to Celia’s question with “I already knew, Joel’s not as good at keeping that secret as he thinks he is.” Which would have illicited a groan from Joel a snicker from Colt and a “Boys” whisper from Celia as she shook her head, but the actual response works as well. It does seem that Colt is warming to Joel though, he’s seeing him less and less as “a dude living in my house” to “not family yet but getting there” they do each have their own lives and have crossing orbits due to “home” but those crossings are feeling like they’re more familiar now and less stressful for the both of them. The comment Joel dropped was a good indication of this as he’s trying to suggest to colt to just tell his parents how he feels before it eats him up. Davin continues to be my fan favorite. He doesn’t push Joel to do anything but instead gives the vibe that he’d support whatever decision Joel would make and that’s the exact kind of external strength he needs. It also helps that whatever relationship these two have at this point is seemingly growing stronger. But I can tell someone’s going to catch on at some point, and it’ll probably Colt, Gavin or both at the wrong moment and “well shit” will probably be said at some point. Thanks for getting this one out early, it was a happy surprise.

I wasn’t sure exactly if I would like this one but then I remembered sometimes the best way to experience another place is to read about it. Don’t get me wrong I’m here for the guns and cocaine, but I’ve actually learned things about Colombia because when someone says its name to this day a lot of people me included do still think of the guns and cocaine. I need to travel more.

Added this to my read list which is getting dangerously exhausting. Loved the interview, actually I love all the interviews they tell me things I’m too embarrassed to ask myself lol. @BendtedWreath I wish my brain was calm like that. I’ve got 2 that are approaching “abandoned” status if I don’t ever do anything with them, 3 that are in progress one of which I’m running to the finished line with. And … 5 more that nobody knows anything about. (Except @Topher Lydon) Some of those five have at least 2 chapters, others have more than 4. One of them is my prompt event and is almost done. That doesn’t count the other 3 ideas (2 are fanfics and I’ve never done one before) that haunt my dreams. Trust me your better off with just the one.

Yeah I need to finish mine was to do it today but we had a severe storm roll through this morning and it did some damage to an electrical panel so I need to probably replace some breakers lol

You guys are getting good at putting the pieces together. Which makes me happy because the clues yall are picking up on and the timeline your constructing is matching mine. Theres still a couple of elusive pieces out there. That haven’t been discovered yet but that’s only because I haven’t laid them out in clear plain view yet (which is why even the government hasn’t figured this out yet). So it seems the convoluted mess I made this out to be in my head isn’t so messy after all lol. Another chapter will be out soon, I’d like to pound one out for the other story as well as finish what I’ve got going on with the writing prompt event before the next one gets posted here.

I’m actually doing pretty decent thank you. I spent a little time making sense of my notes since I still wasn’t clear on who the bad guy really was and I think I’ve got it nailed now. That was part of the issue I was having along with the other issue. I need to get a marker board so I can write little timeline doodles to keep myself straight tho. Next couple of chapters will probably be more of Greg since Josh is probably going to need a hospital (again), would be nice if Langley gets their shit together though lol.
