Uh no sir. We’re going to hijack this chapter too. Last chapter was 319 comments and I’ll be damned if we let this one go with rookie numbers. Besides nothing says “I care” like flooding the system with notification spam that smacks her on login. 😂

Ugh this chapter was so sweet my head hurts. Colt is definitely becoming more human, I mentioned in a past comment that it would take a while for Colt to move past “strange guy living in my house” to “somewhat friendly” towards Joel but I’m so glad to finally see it more in action. And the way it’s slowly happening feels natural, in that guy kind of way, with the bantering and finally able to feel comfortable around each other to make jokes. Then more we get into Davin the more we see he’s definitely the responsible one in the group, but that just could be because he doesn’t have one of those girl shaped sticks up his ass like Gavin and Colt (NO OFFENSE LADIES! It’s just a well known fact that straight dudes are impervious to the power of uh… well you know, 😉🙄 and they act all weird while hoping it to get it.) You can really tell though that Davin is trying to help Joel be comfortable in more than just his own skin. I’m still waiting for Gavin to pop his head in that tent and be like “HEY LOSERS! You up ye-HOLY SHIT!” And after he’s done being scandalized by it, “which one of you moody bitches is on the bottom?” Speaking of Gavin though he’s quickly becoming a favorite, this line did it for me. 😂 I can tell that he’s feeling a bit closer to Joel as we progress because he’s doing more to make him apart of things, and genuinely wants him around or at least that’s what I’m getting from him. The fact that both he and Colt are doing this just makes me happy. One thing I like about Joel is he’s willing to stand up for himself. He didn’t do so in chapter one on that bridge and I get why, but he bounced back. Jaxton had it coming, and while Joel was pushing for a fight he held the line and refrained from throwing that first punch. I probably would have (and have done) what he did which was push Jaxton into fighting, if he wanted it that bad by god let’s scrap. One interesting thing though is Jaxton totally didn’t. He caved so fast, does he have a dirty little secret because I may have smelled some latent homosexuality in his freeze because he was looking kinda scared there so either he’s a wimp inside or he has something to share with the group. 😂 Anyway that’s my jumbled ramble for this. Go team DaJo!

Just a note: the next chapter will be hitting soon as well as some of the others I’ve been working on, just keep in mind I’m about 9 or 10 generations removed from my British ancestry so be gentle.

Bruh it’s annoying sometimes! As annoying as really trying to work on something then suddenly you have to pee. Like I don’t have enough going on without the little guy throwing in his bullshit at random intervals. And there’s some days were it feels like I’ve got a toddler I’m trying to control because it won’t listen, is never happy no matter how much attention I do give it and just generally doesn’t seem satisfied no matter what I do. Not to mention the fact it just seems to thrive on breaking every strand of concentration I’m trying to conjure up to actually write! Some days I’m exhausted, and those are the days where I look outside realize it’s dark and the house is still a mess and I didn’t get a damn thing done that I actually wanted to do. 😂 So if you think I’m being unfair you try taking custody of it for a weekend and see how you feel after it flips your world upside down. Because trust me no one can keep up with a toddler that doesn’t know the meaning of the word “no.” lmao.

I actually finished mine! But now I need to reread it because I ended up rewriting chunks of it and it’s 32 pages long and I don’t feel like doing that right now. That’s on top of the other 20 or so pages I wrote of the other thing I need to send to you and @Jason Rimbaud that’s if I don’t decide to rewrite chapter 1 first because I have issues 😂

I only said that because of personal experience 😂 There was a straight guy once, there was alcohol involved and he was kinda an asshole, and that night he learned some humility. no idea if it ever happened again with that guy but after that night, his attitude changed. i called it emotional growth 😂 I may try to fit the scenario in a story somewhere, I seemed to have a knack for unlocking the hidden desires of certain dudes, back in the day. It was an odd time lmao. Occasionally I’ll be somewhere random and feel the stirs of that “old magic”, but I’m much more reigned in now than I used to be. It seriously almost happened again with a total random stranger not too long ago. But Five sounds familiar, a little more “open” than what I’ve encountered, but yeah 😂
