Starting with Gabriel, I always have one of those self sacrificing dudes that end up in my stories. I mean someone has to fall on the sword and be there. Ryan is most definitely stuck in his own head, and that 'hard straight boy' crap is going to end up doing more damage in the end. -

He actually really is. There was a real opportunity that could have been half assed resolved, I mean Sky could have said his piece, and if Ryan was still mad afterwards, then fine. Sky was actually prepared for that, it's something Father Matthew had told him in the last chapter. But no here we are, and yes Sky is beating himself up something he has no control over, it's wisdom he could use if only someone would give it to him lol.- 65 comments

I really shouldn't because if I do everyone will suddenly feel empathy to Jaxton and that just can't happen lmao. I'm known for my tragic back stories, I can make almost any villain look like he needs a redemption arc. I did just get my prompt event finally in the system, and link sent to the powers that be so yay go me! I am writing though! Just on the stuff I actually need to get done. 😂

Again you sir are correct. Unfortunately forty minutes ago the neighborhood decided it needed a power outage because having just a cold day wasn’t good enough. I’m eyeing my 68% battery level which ones going to win first, the outage or my resolve for some kind of heat 😂 I had to stop myself before I ended up writing Jaxton on my iPad which has even less battery.

Oh goodness me indeed. 😂😂 Yeah this is our blood sport over here. We don’t play. lmao I always take the kindergarten approach. You like someone? Hit them. Or let it fester silently until someone can’t take it anymore and it turns into an event. You are correct though, “the fall” is really the best part. It’s the adventure. Happily ever after is just boring maintenance, and realizing the one you love with absolutely everything you have has this one thing, this one tick that drives you absolutely insane.

It’s literally a hurricane in my head. One that just doesn’t stop and keeps spinning until something pops out. I literally can’t walk to the car without some idea popping up.

That means…. 8 weeks to get through it. I don’t mean to be all maiden who throws herself out of the bell tower due to desperation but I’m not sure I can wait that long 😂

Yessir and I still intend too but right when I was going to send it I decided the beginning of chapter 1 needed around 1,000 more words I’m going to try to wrap it this afternoon. which means @Krista if you haven’t read it yet don’t you’ve got another incoming tonight 😂

See that’s what I was getting out of this chapter more than anything was the sheer growth. Yeah there were a few scuffles, Joel is going to owe Davin something nice for ruined plans, overall though this really was a great chapter, even if Joel seems a little prickly right now. Everyone who has commented definitely has valid points and I’ve read them all, so that’s why I didn’t point out the obvious in mine because it’s been said already. This chapter seriously did have a really nice vibe all the way through it. Colt going in the creek was just an added bonus 😂
