Yes I believe Adrian's father has two separate agendas - for the athlete son and an entirely different one for the scholar Adrian! I wonder if his mother is aware of his financial difficulties? More than likely, the father probably controls the purse-strings and mom is oblivious!! I'm really enjoying this story cljobe. Thank you!

Crass is too good! I'm thinking of the "B" word! Perhaps steamroller with taking no survivors except her "minions"!!! She is self-serving and out to grind an axe that stomped on her previous exploits at a "get-rich-quick" scheme!! Great character development Parker - you've got everyone riled-up at Rita the motor-mouth!! I love it!!

Yes - this reminds me of the lyrics from Sound of Silence: "People talking without speaking --- People hearing without listening" It makes me want to slap both of them!! I've probably not felt so much emotions with your characters since COTT - but there is a difference here - not quite sure what it is but - I feel strongly attached to these guys - both of them!! I agree, Ary is feeling guilt with whatever complicity he had with Levine over the demise of Toby! Something very sinister brought on the fear Toby displayed while arguing and trying to get Rhys to leave with him! I'll second the perfect characterization of Levine: "creepazoid maximus"!! Great story Laura and I too am looking forward to the next "cliff"!

Yes it had to come to this but it was still gut-wrenching and heartbreaking! I don't think Boone realized how damaging his words were to Coy at the time but, Coy's reactions spoke volumes or hurt! I'm not ashamed to admit that I cried! I am going to hold onto a ray of hope that these two will get past this and decide how they can still be together and stay friends. Side-by-side farms in Larkspur might work! Wonderful story even with the Kleenex moments! Thank you Gary!- 96 comments

Yes it is different but it is very entertaining. The dialects are perfect Gary. Its what helps paint the picture as realistic and authentic!! I loved the gruff but lovable Sheriff. Tough as nails but with a big heart for real and honest men (regardless of orientation)! The next chapter with Boone and Coy's "serious" discussion is going to be hard to take - I think! I've made my thoughts known previously about splitting up these boys so I'll just keep silent here and see what happens. Thanks Gary for great story. Take care, David

Yes a very sad sad chapter indeed! (And I concur, very well written for all us readers to actually feel Ricks pain.) Good self esteem is easily talked about but it can be very illusive. Hopefully Rick will find someone soon - maybe take up piano lessons??

Yes of course you would want the businesses to turn a profit to sustain themselves, otherwise they would eventually fail, and all would loose! Derek needs to get his head out of his ass and get with the program. Perhaps he harbors some deep-seated resentment to Will & Liam and their money?

Did I misinterpret the conversation with the FBI Agent (AA) or did he actually suggest that Gator was a latent homosexual who was lusting after Will? Could make sense since it's not uncommon! Some of the worst homophobes are "acting out" to actually try and hide their true sexuality!

Damn - that was a shock! It's times like these that cause the "love/hate" relationship with hospital rules and regulations!! Before my husband and I were legally married this happened to me and it was a nightmare! I wasn't allowed in to see my other half because I was not immediate family. Needless to say, we got notarized power of attorneys for each other after his discharge! Will this be the end of Liam's dreams for a career in professional baseball? Did the attacker(s) target that arm? Let's hope there was a witness or two to this attack! Great drama and a giant cliffy!!

I think it was the goon Gator and a bunch of his Neanderthal buddies! Who else would be dumb enough to leave copious amounts of DNA at the crime scene !!! I like the idea of Bijou and Fifi !!!
