If Bzup's ship and people are about to depart, I'm a bit puzzled as to why he needed to make contact with the humans.
And another thought. What is to say that after all these centuries the new human arrivals will be nice friendly people?
Bzup almost home to Discworld! 🙂
I sometimes get the feeling there is more to Mister Kim than has so far been revealed But then, a lot has still to be revealed...
The mystery is why Bzup's kind chose to utilise the orcs to attack the two ships and their crews after apparently having lived unseen on Benteen for a long time.
@centexhairysub Not only do we not know how Bzup's kind reproduce, nothing has been said about how he performs another bodily function.🤯 But, perhaps Geron has decided to spare us that detail.🙂
Are we getting into 007 territory with 'Goldeneye'? 🙂
I rather like the idea that Bzup and the riders might be enemies rather than friends/allies. Maybe Bzup has arrived to help the humans resist the riders?
Evidently Nico isn't the only one who recognises there is something special about Jem!
Having a line of communication to whoever is behind the blob has to be a good thing. I suspect the disc was initially trying to free the blob without actually attacking Vespris and its crew. Are we going to have negotiations for a prisoner release?
Possibly, but thus far it appears they can only make use of what already exists in its natural environment. And that may also be the only environment in which it can exist for any length of time.
Thus far it seems that the blobs, or rather whatever is controlling them, are unable to be aggressive themselves, but have to utilise a 3rd party for that purpose. It's thus possible they could also use the land animals in the same way. As yet though we have no idea as to the ultimate aim.
