    Chapter 1

So you're saying Browbeat is in the story!
  2. Ivor Slipper

    Chapter 1

North to Alaska! Oh sorry, it was West. Or maybe North by Northwest? I think I'm in danger of getting my Hathways confused with my Hitchcocks. 😀 https://youtu.be/RO6IU9RpjS8?si=aG8NhLBhm_caHxko Intriguing start. I'm ready to be spirited away...
  3. A Chicago deep dish eh? Don't think Thomas will be up to eating much though. However, I think the afternoon session will be interesting.

    Finding Thomas

Roll on Monday! See you in court. 🙂
  5. Ivor Slipper

    Chapter 7

I wonder if things are happening just in time for Ben? 😀
  6. Ivor Slipper

    Chapter 6

That was somewhat of an over reaction Ben!
  7. Ivor Slipper

    Chapter 5

    Perhaps Ben is bi?
  8. Ivor Slipper

    Chapter 4

I suspect the car might contain the 7th cavalry. 🙂

    King Dick III

Late arrivals are always appreciated. He could well have wanted a private showing! 😉
  10. One door closes, but there seems to be a chink of light ahead in the form of an epliogue and maybe a sequel. Definitely things to be looked forward to.
  11. Departure plans put into action and running smoothly - so far... 🙂

    Chapter 30

A very neatly packaged ending to a thoroughly enjoyable story.
  13. It seems everything is falling nicely into place for Danny & Jake, but I suspect there will e a problem or two before they hit the road to Nimbin.
  14. Danny';s preparations seem to be going well, although he hasn't found his passport yet. It now seems Nate isn't going to be the only person he'll miss when he leaves - there's also a not so little brat 🙂 All he needs now is to have an accident on his bike and the money will either be found or stolen.
  15. I rather feel for Nate who seems to be the loser in this triangle.
  16. Jake made the right decision to leave town. But he has taken a big risk in writing that inscription in the book, one that could prove to be a bad decision if, or when, someone other than Nate should chance to read it.

    Chapter 9

Love the last sentence. As for the rest of the chapter, an illustration of what a solitary gay young man could expect in such a location at that time.

    Chapter 8

As one of the pair is called Thommo, what's the betting the other is Dennis?
  19. I think I read somewhere a while ago, that new stories/chapters only appear every 5 minutes. If so that might account for what you experienced.
  20. That's left us hanging in the lunar atmosphere, so to speak.🙂 Hope we don't have to to hang around too long.

    Chapter 7

An inspirational scene captured on film. Seeing a Polaroid of yourself naked must have been truly a revelation for both of them. Perhaps helping Jake with his sale at the market may help them explain their sudden wealth - assuming he manages to sell a few pictures.

    Chapter 6

How long will Danny be prepared to wait? Perhaps after the photo session Nate may be 'inspired' to come to his rescue?
  23. Ivor Slipper

    Chapter 5

If the boys agree to Jake photographing and painting them, how they are going to explain their sudden wealth to their parents? As was said $50 was a lot of money back in 1975.
  24. Ivor Slipper

    Chapter 4

Maybe Jake was planning ahead in removing Nate's shorts from the bonnet of the van? Nate won't want to come busting in on them in the nude, so there is bound to be some noise when he can't find them. But, having said that, I don't have the feeling Jake is that devious.

    Chapter 3

Danny & Nate's explanation for the appearance of Jake is a good piece of invention at first sight. However, it can only be effective for a limited period if Jake is supposed to be 'working up and down the coast'. It is, after all, only a small town and any writer would have found out enough about it in a few days and then move on to the next town. I think you need a Plan B boys.
