Have to say I do not understand @clairvin being horrified that Gianni opted to save Dani a.s opposed to Sami. Given the situation and what was known about both boys, I'd have done the same. Dani has shown himself to be a loving and caring boy, far more so than Sami. We know Sami has had major problems in his young life, but if G&A had not stepped in to foster him he would have gone into the 'system' and who knows what might have happened to him then. I certainly don't think anyone need have any concerns about Marco living with Gianni.

Must confess I'd forgotten there had been a landslip, but I guess they probably happen quite often there. It appears life is going to improve from now on for both Marco and Sami. There is though still the little love triangle to be resolved...

I imagine snow in Ravello must be a rare event. Snow on Christmas Day a once in a lifetime occurrence. How fortunate Gianni cooked his Christmas dinner the previous day.🙂 Of course it has improved Sami's mood and even Marco was persuaded to participate in the activities thanks mainly to Dani's persuasion. Think Gianni slipped up though. Surely he should have wanted to build a snowman?

Unfortunately Sami became hyper because of the morning activities and all the presents he received. It would have been hard, but definitely better, to have delayed the presents until after the Christmas dinner had been eaten. And would a pig in blanket or a piece of stuffing have condemned Sami to eternal damnation? I suspect Gianni did get rather carried away with his desire to recreate an English Christmas and was so wrapped up in the food and decorations that he didn't think enough about potential problems. It is definitely going to be a Christmas Day that will live long in the memory of those who were there.

I suspect the Christmas pudding may be better received than the sprouts... Hopefully Gianni will be able to find a way to connect with Sami before he becomes a teen.

Wow - that was intense. I was panicking along with Gianni! I can see Sami may not find life easy in Ravello where, no doubt, people from Africa are a rarity. Maybe even Reza may have problems. And then of course there are also Marco's problems. Is his father going to disown him and throw him out? We need the birthday party for some light relief. 🙂

As others have said before me, it i good to be back in Ravello again. Being there in a season other than summer, without those damn cicadas chirping constantly🙂, brings a new dimension to the series. As does the prospect of Angelo & Gianni's voyage into parenthood with Sami. It will be interesting to see how that unfolds. (Trust Dani to have a tie dyed hoodie!)

Have to totally agree with @Summerabbacat In fact it was Tyler who hit Dwight first and thus is guilty of assault. Could thus be argued Dwight was subsequently acting in self defence. However, as the story is set in the US, I'm sure Tyler's father will emerge as the hero for protecting his son and as a consequence win the upcoming election with a landslide majority.
