Glad I attracted you. I can promise there will be an ending, simply because it is already written! It is just a question of waiting for that point to arrive. I agree with you about "Would I Lie to You", although I think it is Lee Mack who is the standout.

George did have several books published, but that was some years ago and they are now all out of print. As for me, I have never reached those heights.

Pleased to hear it. The boys will definitely keen to read what George writes next seeing how much they've enjoyed replicating what he wrote in the last one. But perhaps they have some ideas of their own?

Yep, the boys are smart enough to only reveal to each other. George will have to use his imagination, but then he's used to doing that as an author! Jake's no fool, getting in Mrs Travers' good books. Who knows she might be prepared to have him come again?

Contact is Established George had submitted his story to the site earlier in the week. It wasn't a site that allowed authors to post stories themselves, so he had to wait until it appeared. He was though quietly confident that because his first story had been accepted, there would not be any problems with this one. Even so it brought back memories of when he used to submit manuscripts of his books to publishers. It had taken many attempts before his first book had been a

The geese are protesting already that George is taking too many feathers! I think Ben may have to suggest it is only fair that Jake spend two weekends with him to balance their sleepovers. 🙂 Hopefully Mrs Travers can be persuaded to agree.

I don't think we need to delve into Mr Travers' experiences. This story is complicated enough already imo! I'm sure Ben and Jake are going to reveal themsleves when they try out Ben's new bed later, but whether the author will reveal himself is another matter.🙂

I have set it up as a Series, so you can find all the GW stories there. It would probably have made more sense to have them all as chapters of a story, but.... So I guess you need to follow the series to get notifications of new ones. Wouldn't want you to miss one as you're liking them so much.

After he'd had their email he did think about replying, but decided instead to write another story. He felt confident with this one they wouldn't be able to accuse him of spying on them. What he didn't consider was that he was giving them ideas! Ones they obviously enjoyed trying.🙂 Could Ben be GW? Ben is very much a novice at these activities, so I doubt it. Coud possibly be Jake though... As you say Ben does have an accepting and enabling father, perhaps because he and his wife have a poor one which he thinks has affected Ben's confidence. Thus he's trying to help rather than hinder things.
