You've still got a fair number of chapters to go. And yes, I do share your feeling about wanting to read 'completed' stories. Adam had a moment of doubt but based on his background it was understandable. Luckily he now has a 'parent' who will talk to him.

Adam is evidently now feeling confident enough in his new surrounding and relationships to feel he can take the lead - and Troy is evidently happy to see him doing so. Glad you're enjoying the story.

Good point about not reporting. On the face of things it would be the logical thing to do, but kids aren't always logical in their actions.

In the Picture I didn't get to see the picture until a few days later. Indeed I hadn't even realized anyone had taken one – or any come to that - as I guess there are probably some others around. You see we aren't allowed to use cell phones on campus. They can't ban us from having them as everybody's got one, that's just how it is these days. But if you have one with you it has to be kept in your backpack or placed in your locker. I guess a couple of the guys decided to take a ch
