  1. Billy getting to trust Chris is understandable, although I'm sure he would have expected that Chris would want something in return for his friendship. He just hadn't allowed for Chris being so innocent in comparison to what he had experienced. He was evidently concerned about George's intentions, but I think figured Chris might well act as his protector. Plus, initially he had nothing to hold onto apart from Chris after their chance meting on the road. Thus he decided to accept George's offer of a bed on the basis that he'd still be with Chris. I agree two cats is better than one, but that usually only works well if they are siblings.
  2. It was definitely that. 🙂
  3. I'm reasonably confident in saying that daily papers are never published in the UK on Christmas Day, but that is the only day. I have known a newsagent who didn't open or deliver on the day after (Boxing Day) which is another public holiday even though papers were published. He just considered he was entitled to have that day off work also. I have stretched that later in the story to also apply to New Year's Day.
  4. Growing Strong Billy had been wondering how he might be able to move forward his relationship with Chris. He'd introduced him to various things, all of which Chris definitely appeared to enjoy and recently kissing and stroking had become normal for them when they were in bed. In some ways Billy wasn't even sure himself if he was ready for what he thought should be the next step and if he wasn't then it was surely dead certain Chris wouldn't be...and yet... What had happened to him
  5. I think you also have to remember the time in which this story is set. Stinky soaps and colognes were not things boys from their background would have. As for Lucky, she may well have taken herself outside when necessary

    Four or Five I'd say.
  7. Thanks Geron. I know you are a fan of Billy.
  8. I think a lot of people would prefer one cat 😸 to two teen boys! 🙂

'E'd probably be willin' - just like Barkis was. 🙂
  10. Thanks, Chris. Yes, they are all getting to know each other now.
  11. Putting Down Roots During the week after the pair had had their arses tanned by George, Billy went out on a couple of evenings. That was virtually unheard of since he'd started school as in that time he'd only been out once with Chris to the cinema. He didn't say where he was going and neither George nor Chris asked him the question - although both looked enquiringly when he told them he was going. However, he wasn't dressed in his so called 'business suit' the denim shorts which now
  12. Don't think there's much chance of that Wesley. He must be spending half the week answering all the feedback messages.😁

There are definitely benefits for all involved. Despite Billy's natural doubts at the start, George has proved to have no ulterior motives in offering to take the pair into his home - and now into his heart. Chris and Billy perhaps now have a chance of avoiding the slippery slope 😁 The BBC declined the offer of the film rights, said it was too 20th Century Fox for them...
  14. Thus far there has been zero evidence of any forgiveness from Hank even several weeks after the event. Indeed he appears to continue to want to rub Chase's nose into the mess. Any sensible person would have given up and walked away by now. The fact Chase hasn't must indicate either he really does love Hank, or he actually enjoys being hurt. Problem is that Hank can't accept the former and perhaps is now enjoying the latter.

Billy is cutting down his 'activities'. He has found a real home and two people who care for him and for whom he cares. What goes on between him and Chris may be love, but, as you day, definitely represents trust and comfort. Both are things Chris has never experienced and Billy had almost totally forgotten. In what seems to be a stable home environment it is likely that both will prosper. As for George, the chance he took a few months ago appears to be paying off for all of them.

A gif would make it an ideal gift 🙂

    Getting There

There are always unfortunates of which, to differing degrees, Chris and Billy are two examples. At present Billy can see only one way to survive, hopefully other options will present themselves. If you can stay with the story you will find out more. Appreciate the comment.

    Getting There

Yes, they were indeed lucky that for some reason George decided to take them in. Billy has grown up being used. Having run away from the orphanage with nothing he had only his wits and his other attributes on which to survive - at least until now.

    Settling In

Yes, things seem to be going well for the pair - apart from a couple of sore backsides.🙂
  22. Settling In Of course Chris was working again the next day, so Billy didn't have to buy the 99s, but the other part of their arrangement went ahead when they went to bed on the Sunday night. If you'd asked Billy afterwards to rate Chris' efforts he'd probably have given him good marks for trying but poor ones for technique. However, it had taken him quite a few attempts before he became any good at giving blow jobs, but in the years since he had become a real expert. Also, it had bee

    Chapter 4

As Kippy said, "This was the best Valentine's Day, ever,." Thanks, Geron for taking us on this fantastic ride with the (ever expanding!) gang.
