  1. Ryan does have a habit of hitting on the younger guys. Senjiya (God protect us) last year, and Kevin Covais(Chicken Little) the year before....
  2. For those that didn't watch... Danny (totally gay. What color is his music Paula? RAINBOW!) is 1-866-436-5707 David A (one of the very best performances) 1-866-436-5706 Colton 1-866-436-5709 Canundra, I basically agree with your assessment. I can't stand Luke Menard. He's too cocky or something. Danny was a bit over the top gay. The only thing he can do to go further is sing Over The Rainbow. David A is a cute guy and seems really nice. He doesn't exactly trigger my gaydar, but that boy can sing! Myr
  3. I watch for eyecandy...
  4. Well, yeah Colton. lol
  5. I live David A too. I don't think he's gay... but he sure can sing. His interview: http://www.americanidol.com/videos/?vid=895 Doesn't hurt that he has such a nice smile...
  6. Anybody watching American Idol? http://www.americanidol.com/top24/ At least one of the guys, 18 yr old Danny, I would bet my wig on being quite gay. When he got accepted to Hollywood, he ran outside and jumped up and down in a rather fabulous way and had a friend with him who also hit Defcon 1 on my Gaydar. Not that I would ever watch a show just because of a cute guy. Anyone else watching?
  7. So, this past weekend I went to see Rambo. holy cow, was that movie ever graphic. Extremely graphic. and it was pretty good too. This weekend sees the opening of two things I've wanted to see. Spiderwick Chronicles and Jumper. The more I watch the trailer for Jumper, the more I want to see. http://media.movies.ign.com/media/033/033924/vids_1.html Hayden Christiansan shirtless is probably enough... but you also have the uber cool Samuel L Jackson in it. Anyhoo, I will be seeing both this weekend. And a trip to see hockey as well.
  8. Don't forget Daryn Hayes of the former Savage Garden. I think he he married a guy recently. Oh, at least two of the younger male contestants on this year's American Idol have made my gaydar go tilt. Of course, once of them my mother mentioned to me. (Since I came out to her, she has a good time playing spot the gay guy) Go Lance. I still think Justin is cuter
  9. http://msn.match.com/msn/article.aspx?articleid=9321 I liked Backstreet and NSYNC back in the day. They are, after all, my age. And they were pretty hot too. I used to read so many of those Boy Band stories over at Nifty. I was so glad for some vindication in my belief that Lance really was gay. One of the few times my early on that my gaydar worked. I never met him, but was accidentily within 15 feet once in the high tide of their popularity. I suddenly found myself between most of NSYNC (no Justin), and a horde of preteen girls at a Six Flags park. I can safely say that it was the only time in my life where I was mounted by a girl. Several in fact. They were climbing up me trying to get at the guys while I was trying to escape. Anyhoo, an interesting interview with Lance. Myr
  10. This really sucks. I liked him. (Especially shirtless in Roar)
  11. This is very fun for anyone that has played Portal. It's pretty funny for those that haven't too.
  12. I added a special package to the forums that makes it friendly on search engines. and yes, there is also the flashy buttons for those of you taking advantage of the social sites. There is more that will be added later. Myr

    2008 already?

Happy New Year! I hope everyone had fun. Is it really 2008 so soon? I am really starting to feel old! I'm now only 4 months out from turning 31. Yikes! I never figured I'd get this far. There are a great number of things that I would like to get to this year. There is just so much stuff to do. Writing, site stuff, work, looking for work... I'm getting a little tired of the same old boring routine. But I'm not sure I want to get out of the routine either. Ugh. Here's to a prosperous 2008 for all of us!

    Merry Christmas!

I just wanted to say Merry Christmas to everyone! I hope you have a great day!
  17. I've had a busy little day today. I got a bunch of stuff done around the house. I went to see "I Am Legend". It was good, but weird. Interesting story concept at least. I also got some time in with Mass Effect today. I'm looking to get more done with that tomorrow. I did manage to focus a bit on Gay Authors today. I worked on the letter and poll I'm setting up for the end of the year. Right now, I'm working on installing a major new program that is a beta. It is looking like it will be a very powerful update for Gay Authors when the software finally is released. I'll spend some time tomorrow working on that. Did anyone see the short story chunk I posted last week? I didn't get any comments on it.

    4 days off

I now have a nice 4 day weekend. I have a lot of things on my list of things to do. A lot of it is writing tasks. Keep your fingers crossed. I will also be devoting a lot of time to playing Xbox 360. I think I will mostly be focusing on getting the rest of the achievements for Mass Effect. Though, I will also hit up a few other games. I'm going to crash and start my day early tomorrow.

    One More Day

There is just one more day this week of work. Thank God! There is so much junk food at work that you can't walk two feet without tripping over some. It's driving me crazy. Tomorrow is the official office party. (tons more food) I spent the last two nights baking for it myself. I will finally have some rest and relaxation time for myself this weekend. Except for wrapping the gifts, I'm home free for 3 of the next 4 days. I'm going to work on some writing and more Mass Effect gaming, I think. I'm off to do the dishes.

    Yikes!

Today was a long long long day. I'm about written out, because I had to do a lot of career type things. (resume, cover letters, stuff). So, this is short and sweet. Catch you tomorrow. Myr
  22. Well, it is the end of another day and time for a little stream of conciousness. I have officially completed my Christmas shopping. I hate Christmas shopping for my family because, frankly, if someone in my family wants something, they go get it. But, as I said, I'm done. I now just need to spend the evening tomorrow wrapping everything. I will also spend some time in the kitchen cooking up some gifts for some friends at work. Stardust (and the Simpsons Movie) hit DVD today. If you haven't seen Stardust, it is kind of a wild ride. It is funny and Robert DeNiro plays so far against type that you end up staring at the screen in shock a few times because it is so unexpected. It is also a very gay friendly movie. (Sir Ian McKellen (Gandulf/Magneto/Famous Gay Actor) is the narrator) What else? It seems that every time I get home from work, stuff I have to do here just piles up. I get to work on it and I look at the clock and it is time to go to bed again. Where the hell does all the time go? Anyway, I have a nice 4 day weekend coming up. I am hoping in getting some more writing done during that little break. I also want to finish off most of the achievements for Mass Effect before the end of the year. If you look at my little Gamertag, you'll notice that I haven't actually been playing games lately. Something else always seems to be coming up. Do you Zune yet?
  23. Well. It has been one hell of a day today. Nothing bad happened. Nothing great happened. But the day moved along fairly quickly. Getting out of the driveway this morning was a grand adventure. I had to dig my way to my car. The snow was to my knees. The snowdrifts were to my waist. I got stuck and had to rock my car back and forth a little. Once I was lined up, I had to pretty much gun it, cross my fingers and hope for the best. The fishtales of snow streaming out of both sides of the front of my car were a sight to see. I won't eloborate on the lack of plowed roads for the drive into work Work zipped by and I got a decent amount accomplished. I had to put in for my last personal day on 12/24. Cheap bastards again. Though, I am making them open the building for me 12/31. (I'm salary... they say the facility is closed, but salary people have to report. It is there way to get us to take days off. I'm out. So, I'm going to work. I won't be doing much except cleaning up my file drawers and catching up on magazines. I did spend a little time today working on the site. There is a large number of things I've wanted to do, but I keep putting off. I finally started doing some of them. One of the things I am planning on doing is emailing the entire membership a quick survey. The purpose of the survey will be to determine what people like and don't like about Gay Authors. Remembe to check your email address and make sure it works. I've also spent time today working on organizing my writing. I have so many partial stories and chunks floating around that it is hard to find the particular one that I'm looking for. No longer. I can find things fairly easily now. I've also begun quick outlines for all 4 anthology stories for next year. I'm hoping to turn in a story for each. I mentioned in the past that I plan on making Psionic Corp a series of stand alone stories featuring Ian and perhaps other characters. One of the things I'm thinking rather strongly of at the moment is to do a stand alone Psionic Corp story for all 4 anthology themes for 2008. I'm in the process of rewriting chapters 1 and 2 of Psionic Corp and blending it with the other stuff I have already written to create: Psionic Corp: First Son. Comments are welcome.
  24. Happy Birthday Jan! I hope you have a great day! Myr
  25. Here is a good review: http://www.winsupersite.com/reviews/kindle.asp The screen technology that the Kindle uses is the very cool "e-ink". Tech Geeks can check the details out here: http://www.eink.com/technology/howitworks.html I will be looking at one in generation 2. Kind of like I'm now looking at picking up a second generation Zune. (I hate IPod and pretty much all things Apple)
