  1. It looks like they are going to be rereleasing Star Trek:TOS with a lot of updates. http://www.darkhorizons.com/news06/060831a.php
  2. According to the site stats, 66% of our visitors are using Internet Explorer 6 on Windows XP. If you are one of those people, it is important that you upgrade to a compliant browser in the near future. IE 7.0 is what they call a Release Candidate. Most people agree that it is pretty much ready. It is more secure and has some nice new features. I strongly recommend that you upgrade to it, if you continue to use IE. http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/default.mspx There is also FireFox, Netscape, and Mozilla, if you wish to have a compliant browser that doesn't explode with the WYSIWYG interface. We will, be updating the site soon and it will require a compliant browser to view properly. Myr

  4. That first post is a little out of date since we now have had the site about 4-1/2 years...
  5. If you missed the roast of William Shatner last night, tape it! It's on again tonight. It was hillarious and there was a lot of funny gay jokes in there. (George Takai, (Sulu) is gay)) I couldn't stop laughing through a lot of it. It's on again tonight on Comedy Central at midnight eastern, I think it is. Myr
  6. The forum is back up and its removal was my fault due to miscommunication. As for the full story. this is it: Gay Authors for a period of time allowed some authors to have FTP access to our site in order to put up their pages. To my knowledge, we're the only site that offers this. There are a lot of reasons dating back to IOMFATS destruction of teenboyauthors.org by posting child porn there. When I granted FTP access to certain authors, I told them it was on a temporary basis until such time as we had staff to take care of it, or the new software we are testing is complete and in place. We now have the staff to handle the author load. We informed the authors that had FTP access of this fact. Some of them reacted well, some of them developed amnesia as to the temporary basis of their FTP access. Point of fact, Lugh deleted his own site when told of the upcoming change. Had he posted porn (not saying he would) we could have lost the entire site. The risk of allowing FTP access is not worth the gain. I'm sure everyone here understands the needs for security and protecting Gay Authors from different issues. Authors still have full control over their sites. Gay Authors has some new design rules that we are implementing to make sure that each site has certain features that allow easy navigation. We also require that they have ad units. The ad units help pay for the site. We are working with authors (and their technical assistants) on complying with everything. I'm sorry for any confusion and for the error in removing Lugh's forum. Superman Returns

I saw this on Saturday. If you have the opportunity, go see it in 3D at the IMAX. Very cool. IMAX is nice because of the far superior sound system. The 3D effects while cool, I could take or leave.
