I will hop on the wagon for those of us who do not trust Paula. I think she is trying to find middle ground, but her brainwashing church and pastor have a tighter grip than good sence. Dustin has come a long way. I hope he can find someone to help him understand things can change and show him the love he needs. The short hair is going to rile up everybody... some good and some bad . I too am interested in the coin collection Billys dad made such a point about keeping. Come on, throw us a hint at least. I still want Jack and Joey to take a 400 foot bungee jump with a 405 foot cord...... Keep up the great writing Jeff, you are doing an outstanding job!!!!

I too have read Desert Droppings and agree with Spikey. This story weaves a wonderful tale and has an unexpected, but good ending. I highly recomend it!!!!!!!

I too think Brett is my favorite character. I like Billy and Dustin also, but Brett, with his 'give a shit' attitude is simply great! I think it is about time to burn the town down and leave scorched earth in its place... Joey and Jack are a very good place to start. Jack really has no leverage any more and Joey is just so deserving of an ass kicking it hurts. If I were Billy, I would ask Brett how much he knows and how much he wants to know. If Brett wants to use that bomb I would gladly arm it and hand it to Brett for deployment. At this point the first thing on Billys list should be Brett. The next thing to investigate is the preachers disowned son and anything hidden in his closet....... That should be enough wood for a very nice winter fire to keep warm by. If all else fails, Brett and Billy could keep each other warm while the ashes float down . Great story JKW. Keep it comming our way.

This is a wonderful Christmas story that revisits our friends Charlie and Kippy and their friends. It is a great story that tells a tale of the magic of Christmas and a small amount of sadness with a very intreagueing solution. The ending leaves the reader with the warm and wonderful feeling Christmas can bring. Geron, you have again put a Christmas movie into words that leave the reader in a very happy place.

I am a late reader of this story as I tend to prefer completed stories. Gary, you have outdone yourself with this wonderful tale. While it is based on shifters, it is really a story of discovery, suspense, love and mystery. It could even have been created without shifters if you took a bit of mystical license. Gary, you have an amazing talent for writing a captivating story that draws in the reader and and makes them feel as if they are part of the story. That is how I felt. Your ability to add emotion and detail to your scenes make a picture out of words. I like your writing style and really want more, even if it does not include Kellar and Tobyn. Please keep adding to your story list so we can keep enjoying your art. I do not reread stories often, but I am sure this will be one of the few that I look forward to reliving in the future. To those of you that shy away from shifter and fantasy stories, please give Gary a chance. You will be hooked with the first chapter or two.....

I am really liking this story. Caz, you have a way of painting a picture with words. I could really see Kitryn batting at the air and spinning himself dizzy while hanging from his middle on a rope snare. Now for the next chapter.... Do cats always land on their feet? Keep it headed our way and we will keep reading and laughing when appropriate .

Daniel is turning out to be a great brother. Now having Nicola hook Daniel up with Naomi is going to be very funny....Daniel may be better off joining Robbie and Nathans team.... I am having visions of Don as a footing for the next large building in the area... ok, I'll settle for a small building. I really hope Don eventually figures out that orientation is not a choice and that hiding from the truth is a poor choice. We will see how things work out... Keep up the great work Dodger!!!!!

I liked this story when I read it on Nifty. I will let you get a few more chapters posted here and give it another read.

I really liked this chapter. I was diagnosed as a type 1 diabetic when I was 17 also. I had no family history, but I was very scared and angry at the world. I learned to deal with the desease and have been able to lead a very comftorable life. Billy will be angry and scared for some time. He will eventually lean on his friends, doctors and even his mother and step father. It takes time to adjust, but he hopefully will. If he does not, the story is very near the end and I do not think that is JKW's plan . Now I feel that David is going to turn out to be helpful. Keep up the great writing.

I really like the way Brett and Dustin have grown up as this book is developing. Even with his issues, Brett is a saint for keeping with Billy. Most people would have thrown in the towel month ago. Yea for Dustin. He has really gained the upper hand on his situation and depression. Even if he does not get Billy romanticly, he can still be a good friend and enjoy the good things that friendship can bring, same for him and Brett. Now for the tat thing...... I have no problem with tatoos and some are really great works of art. One thing is that they are basicly a perminant thing and therefore should be thought about with a critical eye. Getting a tatoo as a strike out at someone is a poor idea. If Billy does follow through with this I hope the immage is true to his heart. Now with the long hair that bothers his mom..... Maybe a rainbow hair color job would make the point better and worst case a haircut and a little time will remove the evidence of a poor choice. Looking forward in any case . Keep up the great work and looking forward to the next chapter.

I give up on the different 'like' characters. When I try anything other than 'like' I seem to get 'angry' which is not what I wanted...... Anyway, I hope the ending turns out to be only a cliffhanger, not a downer.... Other than that it is a great story. Waiting for the next chapter for more info...... Great writing, keep it up.

Outstanding chapter!!! Dustin has sunk to the lowest point and shot upward like a rocket. He seems to have really learned and grown from his past. Way to go Dustin!! Now for Billys health... The description is Exactly like what I went through when I was 17 in high school. I was drinking water like a fish, pissing like a horse and lost 50+ pounds in about two months.... I am a type 1 diabetic and am 53 and doing very well, thank you! Billy needs to be checked and tested by a doctor, or he could end up much worse. Diabetes can be inherated, and as George was diabetic it all fits. Now for more info,,, I have NO family history of diabetes, but I am definately diabetic. I learned the needle routine 35 years ago. Lets hope Billy gets the help he needs. He will also need friends to help him through the tough times... I know I did......

Just exactly what I felt also. Nathan seems to be very confidant with himself and his actions in general and Alex just seemed to scare him spitless. Nathan really wanted him and Robbie to be anywhere except around Alex. This seems to tell a story in itself...........................

Great chapter to a very good story! I have to agree with the disdain everyone has expressed for Sue and Dons actions. As said before, Sue is the worst. At least Don is honest with his dislike and homophobia. Sue is simply two faced and more worried about appearances. Nicoloa has turned out to be great and the vote is still out on Daniel. Amy is just Amy, to young to have preconcieved animosity because of someones orientation. Now for Alex..... Let me toss this out for consideration. Alex basicly forced himself on Robbie when they first met up. Is it possible the same thing happened to Nathan? Nathan was very likely unsure of himself and possibly easily led to believe someone like Alex could like him. Just like Robbie did. Now as Alex is known to have the reputation as a bad guy, it would not take much of a threat from him to scare Nathan into silence about any encounters they may have had. Just a thought from the sidelines.................................... Keep up the great writing .

I will be the stick in the mud here. I really do not like "The Pulpit Rules" storyline. I also did not like George dropping dead in the gap. I know it needed to happen, but a loving father, which I firmly believe George was, would have been much more agressive to help his son be true to himself and screw the church $hit.... I really want Billy to be happy with himself and if that requires a major meltdown, so be it. I am still firmly 'Team Brett' however, I do think Dustin can play a major role in allowing Billy to be honest with himself. I am so anti church that I find an upside down ctoss to be a wonderful decoration.... I reall want all three of the boys to raise Hell on Earth and blow the bibles and babble well into the limelight. If they could get pastor Carls disowned son to join the W.A.R. it would just be the topping on the cake . Ok Jeff, you have managed to hurt the boys severely. Now it is time for them to heal. If they can take down all of the holy rollers as they grow all the better. It is bad that I am finding more characters in the story that I want to see destroyed than characters I want to see happy.

It is time for a honest conversation AND a careful diligence in seeing how things interact in the future. She might just be a friend with benefits that can scale back to just a friend...... Nope, don't work that way very often............................

Great chapter. I am likeing this story more and more with each chapter. I think that Davis and Kaleb need to be honest with each other and figure it out, even if they only settle on being friends. Now to steal Wesleys idea....The boys need to hit Rudy where it hurts the most. Embarrass him in front of his social peers and hit him in the pocketbook. It needs to be done calmly and with precision and watch him simply explode. If done right there may be a medical scene in the making as Rudy strokes out.....

I agree with all the above comments. This is a great story . One thing everybody seems to be forgetting is..........wait for it.........LIAM. He is going to go absolutely nuts having Noah AND Riley to spoil rotten. Hopefully Annas leaving against medical advice can be used as a key argument for "Child Abandoment" charges. If that happens it will make Adams case for sole custody. Lets keep our fingers crossed!! Great writing. Keep it comming our way.

Great chapter and a wonderful introduction to the interaction of Blus family. I think it would be a carnival of fun to see Nan and James team up for the betterment of all the boys. I can see it now... as a tag team James would have both arms free to pumel Kyles parents while Nan could keep her mind on the unfiltered tongue lashing of the same. Never get between protectors and their charges, blood will flow .

I agree with all of the above. Lets all send inspirational thoughts to all the muses so we can have an abundance of material to read, critique, praise and enjoy .
