Geron, Only you could make me feel sorry for a cow. This is a warming little tale that really does show what the holidays are really about. We really do need to remember our friends and family and reflect on and enjoy the important things in our lives. Happy holidays my friend and also to all who see this!

Good chapter considering all the different pieces. I have known people just like Jordans dad. It is hard to believe a father could be that selfish, but they do exist. Jordan gave it an honest try. Now he can wash his hands of his father with a clear conscience and live his life for him and those he loves and values.

This an absolutely wonderful bit of Christmas magic. The story tells itself, but it keeps you glued to the words until the very last one! Geron has an incredible way of telling stories while wearing his rose colored glasses .

This story had me crying at the end. We must remember Christmas miracles and give thanks to those that sacrifice family to protect our freedoms. This story hits very close for me as a good friend of our family just lost her youngest son in Afganistan two weeks ago. Thank You Geron for helping us remember those away from home and the magic when they return (hopefully). Great story!!!!!

Great chapter! I would hate to see the one who hurt Fran while within the reach of Kitt, Symon or any of the Bear clan.... Just saying. Hamburger would resemble a steak in comparison to the remains .

I agree with the above posts. I can not quite go to the point of not liking Jordan, but he really needs to come clean with his friend AND quit using anybody around him. I understand he is still new to his new lifestyle and sexuality, but at the least he should talk with Noah and Jenn and explain his mistakes and see what they think. I am sure Jenn will be disappointed, but it was really a small misstep and after a good ass chewing she will most likely understand and be very clear about the rules and the solution. I also think that Noah and Jordan need to slow down a bit. The excitement of something this new is hard to slow, but it is very easy to make mistakes if you are moving to fast. Both Noah and Jordan are basically still in the closet and while it is nice to only see the great things about being out and honest, the real world has many bumps and snags that need to be handled. It is unfortunate, but many people are still homophobic and make things harder for gay people so caution is better than carelessness...… Great story and style. Keep id going!!!!!

Great chapter. I wonder if Kitt making faces at the baby is showing a bit of a paternal desire??? Caz, you might want to reign Kitt in or we will end up with more kittens than we have hands or resources to deal with . Simon is rapidly learning about his mates past, for better or worse...... I hope that as this story evolves there is a chance that the seers that have disappeared will be found and reunited with those searching for them. Keep up the great writing!!!!!!

I am loving this story. The chapters are short, but they definitely tell the story. Now with Kitt actually thinking how his cat likes to cuddle and be petted, I am going to take that as a win for my "lap cat" prediction . Keep up the great writing Caz. I will always keep reading!

I am not an author nor an artist, but I would like to think that if I were, I would be pleased that my works were appreciated enough that they were remembered by someone living and trying to expand on my efforts...... Now as for someone wanting to proffit from my works directly, either while I were alive or after I am dead, I really hope some of the ghost stories have a small basis in truth..................................BOO

I to loved this story from the beginning.... Now I am kind of wondering about Kitryns common sence.... I think droping that bombshell on Simon, while he has his fangs in your throat, is a tiny bit foolhardy. Anyone else agree? Wonderful story and great writing Caz! Please keep it coming our way.

I agree with @Edward I think something is afoot with Nathan. I am not sure what, but things just seem to be going in diferent directions. With Nathans more flamboyant dress and actions and his new "job" with comercials, it just seems like Robbie does not quite fit in. Now Robbie is no saint either. His constant poking at Sue and Don can never really lead to good things. Like it or not, they are his parents/guardians now and therefore own his life until he becomes a legal adult. While I do not like Don at all and Sue has lessthan endearing moments, they both are providing a safe and healthy home for all their kids, Robbie included. It might go much farther for Robbie to attempt to have a calm conversation with the whole family about his feelings on his sexuality. Nicola and Daniel can add the views of younger people and possibly Sue and Don MAY begin to understand. I think Don is a hopeless homophobe, but Sue may begin to understand. In either case, simply taunting the barking dogs can only end with a painful bite. Now the Alex thing could be either very good or very bad for the future. I have always had a soft spot for Alex. We will see in future chapters..... Keep up the great story telling Dodger. I really like your style of writing and always look forward to more!!!

Not quite a clifhanger but very close. I think Carl will be happy he is a Vamp if he starts teasing the kitty. My kittys have quick, sharp claws and teeth. I am very sure Kitryns are longer and sharper than my cats are... Now the magical temptress that Fran sees as her mom makes me a bit suspicous. We will see.... Keep it heading our way. I really like this story!! I also vote for longer chapters.

Another great story from an acomplished writer. I have to agree with most of the coments above, especially the ones that want more of an ending. When I was in high school I was camera happy. I was on the school yearbook staff. As I had a greater interest than most of the others I got to take most of the pictures of school sporting events. My trusty Minolta film camera with a multitude of lenses and accessorys went to almost every event. Pictures definately hold memories and a slice of time better than anything else. I had the availability of the school darkroom to develop and print anything for the yearbook. As I had a bulk film back and a motor drive for the camera, I would normally burn 50-100 feet of 35mm film at a single game. I do not remember how many frames that was, but I managed to catch some really neat pictures and some that the players would rather were not cought on film....... Hows that for a not ending . Geron keep up the excelent writing and keep the imagery you put so vividly into words coming our way!!!!

Good chapter. This gives us a view into Simons past and the way his life developed. It sure makes you wonder how he turned out to be a reasonable man/vamp. Keep it going. The story is very interesting and chalanges the mind to guess about future hapenings .

Outstanding chapter!!!! The emotions conveyed by your words were almost physical. I laughed and cried as the sceens exposed what was hapening. I felt Declans fear and hopelessness as he put the pieces togeather. Bailey needs an anchor to help him grieve and recover from a devistating loss. Declan can be that anchor if Bailey is willing to take his offer and reach out when things go bad. Just being able to hold someone and cry can make all the difference. Keep up the great writing!!!!

I find the dynamic of Kit and Simon to be very sweet. I think Kitryn is begining to understand his feelings and Simon is still learning even though his subconcious keeps bushing him to Kitryn and the kits. This is a wonderful story with just the right ammount of love, danger and mystery to keep us wanting more. Great writing!!!!!

Outstanding chapter. Simple, charming and elegant. I also had to look up the flowers to see how they fit in. The little bit with using Lizs' scarf to make the ring cushion is just heart warming. Owens sister would definately approve and feel welcomed into this new family. Carlos, you have reached a new high in your writing.
