Totally not weird at all. LOL. When I was active on the NWN Server I played on, one of the things that we did was fantasy character builds. Neverwinter Nights, for those that don't know, was based on D&D3.5 and had forty levels to work with. The most powerful character I had was a Cleric 10 / Confounder 30. (Confounder was a paladin type holy warrior, custom class, that was based on CN and serve the god of Chaos, Forian. Primary weapon was the Flail.) Given a few mins of prep, his spell buffs ran off the screen, and could go toe-to-toe with legendary dragons, and only need two heal potions if I was fighting an AI controled one. If a DM possessed the dragon, then it was a toss-up who would win. It was fun.

YES!!!!! Warlock, and Magus right there! Perfect!

I don't poke my head in the lounge that often anymore, so first I saw this thread, and hadn't seen that Kickstarter either. Thanks for pointing out both. 🙂 I like turn-base games, and real-time games. Or single player games I can hit pause and go "hmm..." in. Neverwinter Nights 1&2 in Single Player mode (Or if you're logged in as a DM on a PW Server 😈 ) was good in SP mode. Balduer's Gate 1&2, Planescape: Torment, Icewind Dale 1&2, and almost all of the Final Fantasy games and Kingdom Hearts were great for turnbase. Nothing like Min/Max'ing a character to get the best of all combos. Half-Elf Warlock will always be my favorite in D&D 5.0. In Pathfinder, I was partial to a Magus Build.

A spring chicken perhaps?

Excellent chapter! I agree with George that Alex's sneaking out did deserve to be punished, and that the punishment is pretty light. I can see Alex and Harry working on Alex's new Instagram and other social media together. Perhaps some joint TikTok videos? Well, if Alex can get Harry more confident to do it. Ain't going to lie, worried about Jennifer, but I think Jill and George might be able to shield the boys for a time. George taking a couple of weeks off was a good idea, and for some reason, I see George and Jennifer not lasting long. Perhaps a freshly divorced George and his new girlfriend Jill might make a better parenting choice for Alex and Harry?

I've only ever had store bought hummus, and I've never found one I liked. The "I" word hasn't been said in a while, but... the Instant Pot just went off, so dinner is ready. Later. Southern Style Pulled Pork, Mashed Potatoes, Green Peas, and Southern Style Cornbread

I think you shared something similar to these before, and that recipe was to die for! Only made it once, as I lost the link, but I will bookmark this one to try again.

Oh, I give a lot of credit to the father of fantasy, one of my favorite genres, but I've used Fellowship of the Ring as a sleep aid several times when my anti-insomnia meds aren't working. About five pages in, is when I usually pass out. It's just my opinion, that the Peter Jackson adaptation for his epic movies, are far better than what little I have read.

Those LOTR books are perfect for curing insomnia. Tolkien was a crap writer, and can put anyone to sleep.

TC2 - Chapter 7: Retribution
Brayon commented on Brayon's story chapter in TC2 - Chapter 7: Retribution
Thank you very much, Goodie for reading My Son and for the comments you left. I'm truly grateful for them, and your feedback. I think you will like Jeremy's story which is the next one. -
TC2 - Chapter 6: Friends in Low Places
Brayon commented on Brayon's story chapter in TC2 - Chapter 6: Friends in Low Places
Thank you, Goodie. The convo for the brothers was very fun to write, and Duncan and Adam was something I wanted from the start. They grew up together, stayed friends and in contact, even with Adam in Boston, and they were destined to be together by the powers that be. Just life has some interesting twists that they had to go through. Tibs, I like as a character. He can be bad, has been for a long time, but he's on the path of redemption, one I hope he succeeds at. -
TC2 - Chapter 5: Frantic Friday
Brayon commented on Brayon's story chapter in TC2 - Chapter 5: Frantic Friday
Thank you again, Goodie, for reading and for the comment. This was a hard chapter to write, because I knew DCF would be taking Rob away. But you are right, Adam is on the right side of the law in this, and DCF has to investigate the accusation, so it's a crappy situation all around. I can't wait to see what you say for the next two chapters. -
TC2 - Chapter 4: Rob’s First Thursday in Tampa
Brayon commented on Brayon's story chapter in TC2 - Chapter 4: Rob’s First Thursday in Tampa
Goodie, thank you for reading, commenting, and for your insight and opinions on the chapters. I've enjoyed reading each one. Yeah, the next three chapters are going to be a ride to remember. -
TC2 - Chapter 3: Meet Tibot, Adam’s Brother
Brayon commented on Brayon's story chapter in TC2 - Chapter 3: Meet Tibot, Adam’s Brother
Thank you, Goodie! That sting that Adam feels because of his brother, I've felt due to my sister. I haven't spoken to her going on 8 years. As for the grandparents, grief can make you do stupid stuff. -
TC2 - Chapter 2: Meet the Grandparents

Thank you, Goodie, for reading and for the comment. I truly appreciate your thoughts and opinion on the story so far. -
TC2 - Chapter 1: Meeting Each Other
Brayon commented on Brayon's story chapter in TC2 - Chapter 1: Meeting Each Other
Thank you, Goodie! The Tampa Chronicles has been one of my favorites to write, and relationships, like Adam and Robert is kinda like how I would have loved to have had with my own father. -
Thank you, Goodie, for reading and for the comment. Sadly I know that sting of being rejected by family. I lost half my family when I came out, and it still hurts thinking back on it. I hope you enjoy the next two stories in the series.

@wildone It was 94F here in Tampa yesterday, and for those who are not high risk, the beaches are starting to open back up.

You all know I've not talked to my sister in over 7 years. She's had four kids, two boys and two girls, from two different dads. All of them have been taken away from her, and her parental rights have been terminated. If she has any more kids, she looses them automatically, per the courts. Sometimes, people shouldn't have kids, and the best thing for them is removal from toxic parents.

By far, Gambit was the best X-Men of the whole franchise.

Still no pants, unless I have to deal with family, or open the door for the Uber Eats driver. Stimulating the economy, one order at a time.

No, not for me. I had planned to reread the series when I saw you were working on book 3. This is just a good way to get reacquainted with the characters.
