    That is true.

    Origin of Spirit

Thanks for reading, jp. Spirit can do anything need to inspire his charges. Yes, to a point, he would do anything. However, seeing as I used elements of myself in the last story, I don't think I should write about him getting hot and heavy with the writer. Would make for an interesting, optic...

Thanks, Moggie. Technically maybe.... perhaps.... but, not planing on anymore with Spirit. Granted, wasn't planning this one, it just sorta spilled across the screen, so to speak.
  4. He sat at the side of the clearing looking across the empty field, in the heart of the forest. Oaks, Pines, Aspens, and a variety of other trees ringing the grassy field, that was dusted with a scattering of wildflowers. Even though he was just born, he was already a fully mature adult, with knowledge of the world and beyond, powers to accomplish his goals, and zeal to help artists. He stood up to his full 6’6” height and flexed his athletically toned body. It was his first time moving, and a sm
  5. It's good for me now.
  6. This was a fantastic story about Brotherly Love. A must read.
  7. I do have an AdBlocker installed... However, I've disable it several months ago, so GA can get the revenue from the ads while I'm here. I have verified it is still disabled for GA. I also see ads on most pages as well. There's this new Amazon Book Ad, that is appearing now, and it is HUGE. Like 4 or 5 inches tall. Was posting a heads-up, in case it was like one of the internal ads for someone's book, etc.
  8. The link is between the two post, titled "advertisement_alt."
  9. Been seeing a lot of Broken links, around the forum, and other areas. Like this one:
  10. This was an excellent story. Had a fine balance of comedy, drama, and seriousness, to make it well rounded.

    Chapter 11

Excellent chapter, tim. Louis telling Miriam that he forgave her, was really touching. Loved the description of him looking out the window. Very picturesque.

You painted a very vivid picture, tim. Good work.
  14. I would love to have a real one. LOL Thanks for reading Sam.
  15. I posted one for #611: https://www.gayauthors.org/story/bhopper2/my-shorts-and-flash-fictions/12 I'm planning on doing one for 612 of last weeks, and 613 looks pretty neat as well.
  16. @Myr and @Cia, I really didn't think of that, when I put the request in, and I totally understand now. Please disregard the request.
  17. Thank you, Agent D. I really appreciate all the help and support you guys do.
  18. Thanks, jp. I do count you in as one of my GA friends. I liked the Master/Student quote you used. I'm so gonna steal it for a story.
  19. LOL. I'm glad you enjoyed it Moggie, and thank you for the support you've given me.
  20. I would like to request a way to delete stories or chapters that Authors can use, if it's possible. I know you've given us the ability to "unpublish" such, and I've used it before, but would love to be able to delete the content, without having to bug the staff. ( I have 2 chapters and 1 story that I've got sitting unpublished, that I would love to delete, but feel like I'm bugging the staff, if I request deletion. You're time can be used elsewhere, than doing that minor deletion.)
  21. “Well, it seems like now is a good time to write,” I said to myself as I sat down at the kitchen table, with my laptop, notebook, a cup of coffee and some mechanical pencils. I had done all the other tasks I had set for myself and had the house alone for a few hours. Only me and roomie’s dog, I liked it like that. Having grown up mired in depression, and diagnosed with bipolar disorder, I found solitude to be my refuge from others. No one can judge you if you’re alone. As I waited for the

  23. This was a fun, and exciting story. The element of magic enhanced the story over all. The characters were fantastic, and each came alive.
  24. "Imagine yourself standing in your living room, and it's the entirety of the universe. Over on the pillow on the couch, is a button. That button is our local group of 140 galaxies. On the very edge is our galaxy, and on a fraction of a thread, a piece of lint really, is Earth. You're going to tell me, in all this *motions around the room* we're the ONLY life there is?" - Me in my College Speech class. Yes, I believe life is out there, and I do believe we've been visited before. I'm not some conspiracy, tinfoil hat person, but that is my belief.
