Thanks, Dodger. I know I told my editing/reading team this. I was worried how this story would be perceived once it went live today. I was waiting for the "OH MY GAWD, WHAT HAVE YOU DONE!!!!" posts. I appreciate your comment, and it was difficult for to keep it under 1500 words. It was the third version that went to my editing team and was posted.

Thank you, Timothy. I appreciate the comment. I mentioned it above, but this story is set in my Homebrewed Fantasy world. Resurrection and Reincarnation are both possibilities in my world. So... these two souls might turn up again in another story.

Thank you for reading, Parker. This story has become one of the darker ones that I have written, and yeah it made me sad writing it. I went through at least 3 different endings, but this one felt the best way to end the story.

Thanks, jp. I'm happy you liked the story. I agree it needed a very delicate hand, with the relationship. As I said a couple of times, most incest stories I've read always had a vibe of abuse and coercion in them.

Thank you for reading, Valkyrie. Normally, I'm not a fan of incest either, as in my reading experience, it almost always been an abusive relationship. GRRM's Lanisters are the exception to what I've seen. I had to get permission from GA to post this story, and one of their criteria for Brother-cest relationships is, it can not be coerced nor abusive. I really wanted to save the brothers. I even had a Deus Ex Machina version, where they were saved by one of the gods in my fantasy world, but it ran over the word limit. Eventually, I ended it with the version that got published.

First off, thank you for reading the story. I'm glad that you did, and that you commented on it. Yes, this is Fantasy, though I did pull in some real-world prejudices into it. The kingdom, the family, the Seer, and the device used to speak to the crowd are the main fantasy elements. This story, actually takes place in my Homebrewed fantasy world, that I write in for my Fantasy Stories. Though they are not a series of books, just a shared world. I hope to have more stories in this world. Thank you again.

Thank you for reading, Freerider. I appreciate the comment. When Cia announced the forum game, for Forbidden Love, the first two things I thought of, was Brothers and death for being gay. I sent Cia the idea first before writing the story and asked the people who helped in editing and beta reading what they thought. So, I owe a lot of praise to them, and the Moderation team for feedback and approval. I knew I wanted a darker tale for the theme.

I would consider them SciFi, but I've heard them also described as Paranormal. Most are Mutants, or Psionic powers, which they say fall under the Paranormal category. -
Their love was forbidden in the kingdom in which they lived in. They did it anyway with no regrets. Part of the February Newsletter "Forbidden Love" story prompt series.
