Thanks for reading RJ, and I'm glad you enjoyed the story. A follow up, one shot on Marcus is in the works.
  3. Thanks, Moggie. Funny you mention dreams, as I've dreamed about this story several times.
  4. Thank you for reading! You're going to get your wish, for a little while in the next chapter. Dad and the boys, have a long talk. Chapter 3: House Anfalas
  5. Thanks Myr. It scared me, as I though, I might of had a virus, or something, and it was randomly inserting stuff. Still running my Anti-Virus, and CCleaner...
  6. I just posted the second chapter of my new story, here: https://www.gayauthors.org/story/bhopper2/the-half-elven-warlock/2 (I know only Admin can see the page here.) At the bottom of the page, one of the words, was turned into an URL Link to a website called Sitter City. I've unpublished the chapter, as I did not do this. I've tried to remove the link, but it keeps replacing itself. Help? EDIT: When hovered over, the link says: "Link inserted by VigLink". EDIT 2: Chapter Republished, and link is gone.
  7. The Amtrak Auto Train pulled into Lorton, VA an hour late, at 9:45 am. By the time Devin retrieved his truck and met Brandon, it was 10:45 am before they were on the road. “So, which way should I head? I’ve never driven in D.C. before.” Devin was watching the road intently. “I can drive if you want me too.” “Nah, I think I can handle it. I’m just nervous as fuck right now.” Brandon laughed and looked over to his little brother. “Well, first thing, stop being nervous. It’ll be fine. S

Thanks for reading. I'm like him, too.
  9. Thank you for reading, and adding my story to your favorites list!
  10. This was one of the first stories I read on GA. I periodically go back, and look over it. It has a wonderful plot, and the characters are likable. An overall good read.

    New Brother

An excellent, and very well written story. You feel bad for the secondary main character, while at the same time, get very aggravated at the main.
  12. Thanks for reading, Sam. Chapter 2 is done. I'm giving it another once over, before sending it out.
  13. Thanks for reading! I grew up around truckers, and a merchant mariner, and they would call the East Coast of the USA the "Eastern Seaborg." However, I just googled and it seems they were mispronouncing it, and its the "Eastern Seaboard" on almost everything. Though Seaborg seems to be a legit word, a real person's last name to be exact. I'll update the chapter.
  14. Yes, my editing team wasn't up to snuff in the early days of this project. I have been going back, and reediting these chapters with a new editor.
  15. Chapter 2, is in the spit and polish stage, Moggie. Thanks for reading.
  16. Thank you for reading!
  17. Thanks for reading! The second chapter, is being polished, and will be headed over to the my support team, really soon.
  18. It's Devin Rous' birthday weekend, and he's turning 18-years-old. With secrets coming to light on this special day of his, Devin's 18th birthday will be one of his most cherished, and the start of a living nightmare. This is an Urban Fantasy, Portal Story, set in the Modern USA. Specifically Washington D.C.
  19. Devin Rous had always known he was not a normal person. Raised as an only child to a single mom, Devin’s life was hard, but the pair of them managed to get by. When he was born, the hospital staff was shocked by Devin’s elven features. His face was angular, and his ears pointed. Directly over his heart was a perfectly detailed birthmark. It resembled a tribal design of a downward pointed three-pronged arrowhead. Otherwise, Devin was normal in all other ways, according to the doctors. What ne
  20. “Fall back to the gate!” Shad’ler, the Elven King yelled, and his officers repeated his commands to the remaining elven troops on the battlefield. There would be no time to look for survivors or to retrieve the fallen. Shad’ler had to harden his heart for this to work. The vast forest clearing surrounding the elven castle rang with the clash of swords as the two armies struggled. The smell of blood, smoke, and death filled the air as the elven army was trying to hold off the horde of demons
  21. I'm sorry that you didn't enjoy this story, after this chapter, but please enjoy the next bus you choose. There are usually route descriptions at the beginning of the line.
  22. That makes sense to me, going for a neutral sound.
  23. Thank you, Mister Will for reading my story. In hindsight, Julia would of been a better choice. I had originally named her Jules after the French writer Jules Verne. My original team of Beta Readers, and Editors were my real life friends and family, who helped on these first chapters. They were less than stellar in their editing. Though, now I have a wonderful editor named @Kitt, who has gone and re-edited this chapter, among others, and some great Beta Readers.

Excellent, and well crafted my friend. Love the imagery in both of them.
  25. A full moon lit the night sky, as the two men left the cinema. They could have been a father and son out for a movie night, but that was not the case. The younger of the two was twenty-four, short at just over five feet in height with a slender build, while the other was a much older bearded man with the build of a linebacker who stood a foot taller than his companion. It was a chilly night, not unusual for that time of year in Tampa, Florida, and the younger man shivered as they headed towards
