A beautiful sweet poem.

History Channel is doing a mini-series on George Washington. Tonight, tomorrow, and Tuesday. Just finished the initial episode, and about to watch the encore. That good. Learned some new things about the first USA President, like he started the French-Indian war. And that he dropped out of school at 11 to run the family farm. Became a surveyor at 14 and a landowner at 17.

Hmm, beans and cornbread for tomorrow sounds, really damn good right now.

How did they turn out the next day? That looks really good. I need to try and make it soon. We should start a topic for all the recipes and Instant Pot stuff we talk about. 🙂

Can't wait to read it.

What's next? -- After Spirit of Fire
Brayon replied to Stellar's topic in Stellar's Fan Club's Topics
I voted for the third book in the Hidden Sunlight/Veil of Shadow series. Gonna have to reread those stories again. -
Fade to black, and allusion is what I often do, especially in the stories I've posted here on GA and then reposted them on Nifty. In my opinion a more detailed sex scene could enhance the characters and story. For example, In my Tampa Chronicles series I have a couple, Travis who is Gay and Jeremy who is Asexual (with a bit of autism). So, actually describing what happens there would enhance the story. In the coming fourth, and final installment, Travis gets aroused at the sight of a naked Jeremy, however, Jeremy doesn't when seeing Travis in all his glory. Later, Jeremy wants to do something sexual for Travis, and gives him a handjob. I wrote the scene in a clinical detached sort of way. Third-person PoV, so it's easy to show that Travis is loving it, and Jeremy is just going through the motions to make his boyfriend happy, all the while not being aroused at all. Now in my Freedom Station story, that I'm almost to the point of releasing, has a lot more sexual descriptions involved. This is one I've stepped out of my comfort zone on, and there is a lot more description than what I've done in the past. Even still, it's not as prevalent as what some find in other stories here on GA or Nifty.

Three years later I still stand by this. Also, if I hear the phrase, "Show, Don't Tell" uttered in my direction again, I'm liable to slap the ever-loving shite out of the person.

So, I stepped out of my creative comfort zone, and have been writing a story that has more sex scenes in it. I think I've done a good job with the erotica in it, not like what you find in some Nifty stories, but not shying away from saying head bobbing on someone's shaft either. Now, one scene has four guys doing an orgy. First time I ever wrote one, and it got me thinking. How often do other writers write scenes with multiple partners at the same time? So, how about it? How many have you written about doing the nasty at the same time?

Oh, this is nice! And we can do more topics too.

Awesome. Thank you.

Baked oatmeal? Sounds interesting. They're the heart shaped ones too. LOL. Went looking for the sugar-free stuff they usually have for after Valentine's for mom. Those were to first thing to go last night at 1:00 am when they all went on sale. Or so the associate said when I asked if they had any.

Today's the first day I haven't been on a bus for 3+ hours just to get to an appointment, with another 3+ to get home. Been reading some posts on Reddit about Men who "messed up" Valentine's day, or their girlfriend/wife didn't get them anything but expected gifts because "Valentine's is ONLY FOR THE GIRL." Unbelievable. So many Red Flags. But I got some Reese Peanut-butter Hearts that were 50% off this morning. So, that's a positive.

Thank you!

Looks delicious, tim. Can you send some to South Tampa? Or may I get the recipe?

From time to time, my Brother, your poems speak to me on a level that I don't fully understand. Hugs to you and to Mike.

It may just be virtual, but hugs Mike. For you and tim.

For 817, spur of the moment: An old movie played in the background of the restaurant I was waiting for him in. I sipped on my glass of wine and looked at the door. Other patrons walked in and out, but he still had not shown. I went all out for this date, even buying a new blue shirt that made my eyes pop and hadn’t ate all day so I could enjoy this dinner with him. After an hour of waiting and three glasses of wine, I ordered a sandwich to go. After I payed my bill I took my food and walked out. Unheeded on the floor was a crushed rose that fell from my lap, before my heel landed on it.

Congrats tim! 😁
