The first time I read a chapter, it's for enjoyment, with the remaining read throughs, some up to 10 times, are the red pencil. I agree 100% with you, on someone trying to put their voice into your story, and hope I don't do that.

@Geron Kees has some good SciFi stories. I'd recommend from his: And his series: https://gayauthors.org/stories/browse/series/doorways/ I would also recommend @Stellar and his SciFi stories as well. Such as: https://gayauthors.org/stories/browse/series/aspects-of-dawn/ @Mikiesboy started posting a Fantasy story today that is excellent. You already said you've read DKstories. GA owns the rights to his stories, so they are being reposted. @Cia and @Mann Ramblings each have a weekly serial on Wednesday which are good. There's a lot more authors with good SciFi/Fantasy stories, those are just a few of my favorites.

Fantastic start to the story, my Brother. If I recall correctly, when I sent you the Beta Read chapter back, I mentioned I could run a D&D campaign based on what you have written so far. I still stand by that. There were several elements in this chapter that brought back memories in my gaming history.

No, it is not. LOL. Maybe Disney after dark, in the hidden recesses where Cast Members go to fornicate, outside the prying eyes of the guests. Which, of course, innocent me would know nothing of. (Except for a four or five spots.)

I'll just point out one thing about them. They were hired to write a song for the Horror Movie, Child's Play, the original one. The director love the song, the actors love the song... the studio executives were scared of it, and canned the song. They released it on their The Amazing Jeckle Brothers album. Play With Me by I.C.P. is the story of unloved toys.

Yes, it does have all those nice little meanings mixed right into it. Both for different reasons. Good as in, I got to spend time with family, I don't often get to see. The last time I saw these kids was about ten years ago. Good as in, I'm no longer the only "outed" gay man in the family. Good as in, I was able to talk to someone that was struggling to come to terms with his sexuality, and help them. Bad as in, I'm out of Ice Cream, my granola bars, the stash of gummie bears, the stash of Oreos, and they raided my bottles of smart water. The ice cream hurts the most. Great day overall.

Good Night, my friends of the DiC. Long day tomorrow, first assessment should be opening up here shortly, and then all my normal household stuff. Also will be hanging out with a couple of teenagers tomorrow. Cousin kids from up north, and with everyone else busy, I got voluntold to show them around. lol. Later.
