    This chapter stands out for me. It reminds me so much of the fantasy stories I grew up reading in Jr. High and High School. The scene with the stone giants is a classic, and resonated well. Fantastic all around.

    I'm so tempted to grab my Neverwinter Nights cds, fire-up my laptop, log into the Avlis servers, and break out AJ, my Confounder of Forian. It's been a few years, since I played him.

    But there is something to be said about Hemothracene too. He's brought order to the land, has created stability among the populace of Nabrook, and only wants what is best for his followers. All he asks for in return is a little faith and devotion. Searchers are the ultimate worshipers. They have chosen to serve as the sword of their god. They bring peace and order where they go. A priest's duty is to encourage followers and converts to the religion. A divine warrior's purpose to enforce the will of the god. (Have I mentioned, I've role-played a lot of Clerics, Specialty Priests, and (Un)Holy Warriors over the years in my D&D games?)

    The heart is because I felt your poem is well written, and invoked a strong emotion in me. So it's showing how I feel about the poem itself. As for content, I would be a tear drop like the others, because it is sad. Getting ones emotions out is a good thing. You're right that lately there has been a lot of sadness and heartache. Hugs my brother.

    That's a full time job by itself, to get it out on less than a year.

    I keep looking at this story, through the eyes of one that has played a lot of Dungeons and Dragons, and loves fantasy. From gaming experience, you don't want to mess with intelligent weapons. Especially ones that are soulbound to the owner. I can easily see me playing in this story as a quest, and that is fantastic.

    A great chapter, tim. I like how you showed a tenderness of Stravor towards Shade in this chapter, which is yet showing a different side to our Searcher. He even uses Shade's name when it's just the two of them. Excellent job.
