  1. AHHHH. I see. Light rail stations are normally good. I wish Tampa would do something like that. They've approved a Privately-owned Railroad to link Tampa to Orlando which will be part of Brightline system of Privately owned and operated Trains in Florida. It'll be done sometime in the next 5 - 10 years.
  2. I'm wanting to ask why they would do that. But, Tampa's HARTLine is just as stupid. Spent $2.5Million on new shelters along one route, and the next year, they changed the route and those shelters are now not used.
  3. Ouch, my Brother... Hey, how's the pink pony doing?
  4. You see I'm the exact opposite. I love writing in 3rd-person. Within one scene, I can drop in what one person is thinking and what another one is as well, and have them both looking at the situation differently. When it comes to 1st-person, I struggle with it. Yes, I have a few stories written in that format---Eric, Hell's Vengence---but I've tossed out more and rewritten others because they sucked. Haven't even attempted 2nd-person, but I love to read it. Mac's "Lessons" story is a beautiful example of how 2nd-person works. In my humble opinion, for switching the narrator in 1st-person. If done within a scene/chapter, no... that's too confusing. Each chapter with a different narrator, that's doable, as long as it's clear that it's a different narrator and it's not a rehash. I've read BB's story that does this, and it works. I've also read a series called The Iron Druid, by Kevin Hearn, that does this in later books. The first few the books were told by one narrator, then as it went to three main characters, each chapter dealt with one character's PoV, but it furthered the story, and was not a rehash. It also worked due to the three mains were not together, in different parts of the world, doing different things, that all converged into one arc. Also, good day everyone. I hope all is well. A little break while I take the day off to destress.
  5. Only did that once. Was not a fun experience.

Thank you very much, Agent D, for both reading and for the comment. I feel things are working out for Eric.
  8. Sleep Well, you two. Good to see you both.

    Lesson #4

A great glimpse into your Life, Mac. I like how you use the 2nd-person style, makes me feel like I'm in the story. This feels like it holds a ring of truth in it, and I hope the person you might be speaking of, can find peace.
  10. Good to see you too, Mac.
  11. Doing OK for the most part. Better than the Rams right now, after Tom "I'm a known cheater" Brady won again.

    Three is Perfect

Excellent chapter tim. What strikes me the most about this chapter, both now and when I beta read it, was the humanization you did of Louis. You showed us that his and Don's life isn't all sunshine and lollypops with Lous' inner monolog. Then how much of a professional he is at his work. Then you bring us back to the love they have for each other, and Lous' telling don how he feels. All that shows us that your characters are more than two-dimensional. They have lives and emotion. Also, I love that Max reached out to them, and they are going to go visit him.
  14. Thank you, my brother, for sharing a bit more of yours and Mike's life with us. With each of these installments, you show a bit more of the love you two have for each other. It is beautiful to see.

    Haiku

These are excellent MIke. Thank you for sharing them with us. The two visuals that stood out to me the most was the happy dog, and the dancing snowflakes. In my opinion, I think you hit these out of the park.
  16. Good to see you again, and thank you. 🙂 I can understand college giving you headaches. Getting them as well.
  17. Thanks, everyone. Came home, around 4ish, and was chilling in my bedroom, with a cloth over my eyes. My Fire tablet started going off from the emails I was getting. Was able to move to answer them, and talk to you all. After that, it was back to laying down, cloth to block the light, and I just recently woke up. Headache is gone too. I really appreciate it peeps.
  18. On a positive note, I lost 12lbs. over the last month!
  19. Thanks, everyone. The first experience with a migraine, and when I called the doc to see what I could take over-the-counter with my mix of meds, she told me to come in. She wanted to know what was causing it because I don't have a history of them, and generally not prone to headaches. Posted I was headed up, and while I was waiting in the lobby, lost vision in my left eye. Needless to say, I started freaking out. They did some in-office tests, with a sonogram, and now I have appointments next week for an MRI, CT Scan, and a trip to an eye doctor. She thinks it's an eye issue. Haven't been checked in six years, and even with glasses, I have some poor vision.
  20. An unintentional break from schoolwork, while I head off to the Doctor's. This was not pre-planned Just wanted to say hi real quick. Back later.

    Haiku

Excellent Haiku, my Brother. They didn't come across as clunky to me, I think they flowed well and were inspiring.
  22. School Website: Up and Running. Has been all day. Virtual Classroom: Up and Running. Has been all day. The alternative learning program, where all our study material, tests, and all the other stuff: Has been down most of the day. Came up. Started working. Back down. Meh... could be worse, could be stabbed.
  23. I'm still learning how to operate it on the tablet. Supposedly, you can change the voice on it, and I have yet to find the setting for it.
  24. Alexa on my Fire Tablet has done that me a couple of times. I asked "her" the other day to tell me what's on the news, and she brought up FOXNews' internet livestream for me. I know it only did that because somedays I will turn FOXNews on for background noise while I'm doing school work. The thing that made me turn off the Alexa "hands-free" was when my Uncle was talking to my Cousin about picking up a new car battery charger, and I started getting email and "suggested" products on my Amazon dashboard for battery chargers.
