If Billy hadn’t been a jerk and gone to work with his dad, George might have got help sooner, hopefully he is ok. Emily made an interesting comment saying to Billy that she knows him better than he knows himself and she also pointed out to Brett why he doesn’t like Dustin when she said that both Brett and Dustin want the same thing, which is Billy she is very observant of the situation.

I think that Dustin is gay and we know that he is craving love and attention. I only hope that they are using condoms, although I doubt it, also they way Dustin didn’t want Brett to see Mike made me think that there was a sexual relationship between Dustin and Mike and Brett might have figured it out. I also think the way Joey has been mouthing off about Billy that he is just a big old closet case as well.

I can understand Billy’s frustration at people laughing at the funeral, but he needs to understand the context of the situation, were people laughing because they were sharing their memories of Mrs Cunningham? A funeral should be about celebrating the life of the person who has died, laughter at a funeral releases the tension at the time. Just before my grandmother’s funeral my father, my sister and I went to view her body and when we walked out of the room, one of my Aunts said that she didn’t look like Mum because they had put some makeup on, Nana didn’t use makeup and we had a bit of a laugh at that, I have a photo of her in her coffin in my photo album, you can only see her face.

It’s tough being a teenager, but there is also the additional stress with Paula’s mother being unwell due to the stroke, I think if George referred to his son as Billy or called him son instead of boy, Billy might respect his father a bit more, calling him boy all of the time is a bit cold.
