Welcome to the DiC @weinerdog !
-
It's been long time coming and we've ignored the signs. About 8 or 9 years ago I was with my work wife and we were getting in the car after eating lunch at a local restaurant. It was mid January and I noticed that the cherry blossom trees were starting to flower. Granted I'm in the southern US, but still, that's really early. It wasn't a one off event, they now start blooming in January. Everything that blooms seems to have moved up by a month or more. The dog days of summer that used to be in August now starts in June. @Flip-Flop hit the nail on the head, and you're right that we need to stop while we still can.

That's good news. Take it easy and rest.

Glad that the operation went well, but I'm so sorry you had to have a catheter. Not fun at all. Make sure they give you meds for bladder spasms. Hopefully it can be removed quickly. Take care of yourself.

I can't right now because I have to go to a long and boring meeting for work. But I will read it later on this afternoon!

Welcome to the DiC. You'll fit in just fine. We're a pretty laid back group with varied personalities, but we're always here to listen and we'll always have your back.

Well I don't know anything about horses, but even I know what she's doing is rewarding bad behavior. The horse won't ever learn to get on the trailer. Why would the horse board when it's getting treats and rewards for not boarding. Sheesh! Some people are just absent when they're passing out common sense.

Oh my! You've just opened the door to the mayo/Miracle Whip/mustard debate. 🤣

Yet. It's early days. 😜

I hope that there are no regrets in the morning. I fear that Generro may have a bit of difficulty with what has transpired, but he may fully embrace it. Then there is the wildcard that is Sophia. You do weave the most delicious tangled webs Mr. Arbour. Bravo, Sir.

Sorry you're both sick. Has he has his gallbladder checked? That can cause some serious non-muscular back pain. I got the giggles over spell check. I live in the land where people spell how they talk. It isn't pretty. LOL I hope everyone has a great day and weekend!

Sounds like a good time for plenty of mac and cheese! And chocolate pudding. You can't forget about the pudding. Lol.

JJ has met his match. Good for Kris on calling him out on his shit.

There are days that would test the patience of Job. Yesterday was that day. Here's hoping that everyone has a Happy FriYay and a wonderful weekend!

Happy Birthday! Here's hoping you have a wonderful day. 🎆🎂🍾

Would this be your tomorrow morning or GA's tomorrow morning? Because your tomorrow morning is in about 1/2 of an hour. Asking for a friend ( @chris191070 ) 🤣

The U.S Congress is much the same albeit with more spacious digs. They're like a bunch of 5 year olds jumping up and down, waving their hands and shouting "look at me" while failing miserably at governing.

https://gayauthors.org/stories/chapter/64771-duty-and-ethics/?do=findComment&comment=624291 The chickens have come home to roost. Jamie needs to tell Mike the complete truth because it's at the point where his continued silence means risking losing Mike. Kudos to Nam and Rob for offering up their unconditional support. A big thumbs down to mom though. More please!

Come visit the Southeastern part of the US in July or August. 🥵 You'll change your point of view. @kbois can back me up on that.

Dogs don't miss their mark and nips don't require stitches. On the flip side of the coin, my mother had a dog long before she married my father. When I was born, that dog became my protector and she slept next to my crib and later on, next to my bed. She was sweet and very gentle. There are pictures of me grabbing on to her as I learned how to walk. My father told the story that one day my mother was spanking me and the dog started growling and charged at her to make her stop. I was too young to remember that incident, but what I can say is that my parents never raised a hand to me. Still, it is a big risk leaving kids alone with a dog.

Well duh, it has bourbon and maple. Of course it's going to come out fantastic. 🤣 Butter chicken, Korean Beef, maple bourbon pulled chicken, egg rolls, and (almost) spicy peanut chicken...maybe it's time for you to get a side gig and do a cookbook. The title could be "Kbois Kookbook for Korner Krews" 🤔

Are you allowed to ice it down? I know it's annoying, but it does help.

If you think 50 is fun, just wait till your next decade. That's when your body really starts doing things that make no sense. Blueberries? Nope. They give me heartburn. But I can eat hot peppers with no problem. Pulling your neck when you turn your head to check your mirror before a lane change is really fun. That sharp burning pain that runs up the back of your skull for days after is like nothing you've ever felt before. Then there's the side eye you get from your doctor when you try and explain how you did it. Those itchy, burning, watery eyes you thought were allergies? Not so much allergies as dry eye disease. Your eyes are pouring water but you have dry eye disease. 🤷 Invest in a good reclining chair. You'll be using it when the pop up out of a dead sleep at 2 a.m. wide awake and can't go back to sleep. Whoever coined the term "golden years" needs to be slapped. 🤣
