    Chapter Eleven

Chris sounds like he's trying to protect Ryan? He needs to calm down and talk to Ryan properly, he's in very bad state now... I don't like Ryan's parents. His father seems like he's using his son, his mother was so irresponsible she didn't let him meet his father... I know there's a reason she did so, but I still don't think it's a good idea.

    Chapter 2

This is the time when the What-if question raises in your head. What if I didn't do that? The result would be much different. Hope Donny and Louis can overcome this difficult time...
  5. Um... so if I say this to my (future) bf: "I will make you love me", that means I manipulate him into loving me? And I think you underestimate tim too much. He's not weak to be manipulated by anyone. Hi Mike, I hope you don't mind me reading your blog. Thank you for sharing your thought, your life here.

    Burden

Sometimes I want somebody would say these words to me, sometimes I want to say these words to people I know... This is such a nice poem
  7. Thank you for explaining. Interlude 4 is very entertaining, especially when a certain bad guy realized he couldn't seduce Aeris anymore It's but I just read a book about SEAL Team 6, Guardian Force kind of reminds me of them, for their special position in the Navy
  8. Now we know the Guardian Force's weakness. They're only trained to endure physical wound, not to recognize and defend Psychic power. It's kind of hard for Aeris, but he has Will now, so we can hope. I'm waiting for Will's power.... It's embarrassing, but I realize I don't know anything about FleetCom They're... exactly who are they? How far can they reach? Seems like they have a hand in the loss of Gilese
  9. I'd expected Interlude I to be Shane's story. I still don't know why he has influence on Aeris. There's a time when Aeris felt he should stay away from Shane, but when Shane came to talk, he gave in... This part makes me uncertain about Aeris's feeling. So an interlude about Shane is necessary, to make the story smoother and clearer. And if Shane is going to be an important character, then you certainly should write it. .... But as a Shane hater, I don't have any complaints if you decide to skip. If you can't stand him, you don't have to force yourself to write. Just sum it up, that's enough. Writing should make you happy and comfortable, not the opposite
  10. Oh my... I have to admit I hate Thomas since he first appeared. I wish he just went somewhere and never be involved in the story. At one time I even thought of asking you: Is he Aeris's true love? He cheated on his husband and blamed Aeris for his (divorce)? That's not logical. I only relieved when Will appeared He's totally opposite to Mr Cheating. But... you know... this is kind of like spoiler.......
  11. So by sending information back, more and more time lines will be created? And what's the cost for doing this? Did the future four have something sent to them from the future?

  14. After watching lots of Chinese dramas, I know Chinese words often have subtle meanings, sometimes I feel it is scary. Like how the hell can you know it is meant this way, not that way? I'm sorry this relationship couldn't continue, but I feel that after this, you also realized more about yourself, and your next relationship would be much better.
  15. *raise hand* Me, me, I like watching TVB dramas too! I watched No Regrets and listened to its epic theme song countless time. Bu Bu Jing Xin? I hate the main girl so much I couldn't get to the 5th or 6th episode. Gong is much better, the theme song is also great.. I even tried singing it in karaoke with the help from my friend (I know very little Mandarin Chinese) Pudong... I've been to Pudong Airport, it's a nice place, much nicer than Beijing Airport imo.
  16. This is really good, an interesting take on the connection between ancient civilizations and aliens. The plot made me anxious about what happened next, the action is fast-paced, the mystery about the guardians is appealing... But I still have some questions: 1. Why did Master Edward choose George to be his apprentice? Guardians must know how to keep secrets, have a strong mental state to not be wavered by anything and be able to endure loneliness. How can Master Edward be sure George can do the work when he met George when George was just a child? It turns out that George slipped the secret to Jonathan, later to Samuel... Of course there's no harm, but what if Jonathan is not a good person? Isn't George just like Noah, let his emotion won over? How can we sure if George won't slip the secret to anyone else later in his life? He seemed really... not mentally strong at all. 2. The grand council I thought their last meeting was 6000 BC? Who are they, how long have they lived, they communicate with the guardians through mirrors or anything else? Speaking of mirrors, aren't there anything else passed from the ancient time? 3. The guardians, we don't know any other guardians except from Ashok (only mentioned a few times), Noah (very unreliable), the guy in Paris (he's the one I want to meet most, how can he not make any appearance...). I want to know their backgrounds, how they live with big secret, how their families deal with it,... I'm sorry George and Noah leave bad impression on guardians to me. Wait, the other guardians didn't even recognize there was a fake among them... It's dangerous when you live apart and can't see each other 's face... If only the mirrors were as modern as Skype. 4. The secret. The alien left their knowledge to human, so that when the time comes, human can leave Earth and find another planet... But what if at that time human's technology is better than the alien? 5. I don't think the tradition of passing the mission from father to the eldest son is suitable. Look at Noah (I'm sorry but I don't like him). But choosing randomly like Master Edward is not ok either. So what's the best way to choose apprentice? I'm sorry I questioned too much, I just like reading ancient civilizations- related stories
  17. I'm sorry if I said anything offended you. I'm not American either, but when you read American books, it is expected to have politics mixed in some stories. I know some people with conservative view have very unfair opinions on gay. They used terrible words to describe gay (if you understand those words, trust me, you just want to throw them into a river). Even my dad, once he told me "They're illness" and "Who cares about those .... (please fill in the blank)" But I'm not gay, so I didn't experience what they had to come through, like you said I couldn't understand their feelings. If it were me, I'd avoid talking and reading anything related to my background, so in their place, it's understandable they want to express their frustration. Maybe because I've read many stories with same formula that I feel like I have to experience those "frustrations" of the main characters again and again, it's depressing. I agree authors should express their views more subtly... or in the right dose. Besides, not all gay-bashing dads belong to R party. They can be like my dad, who believes in nothing, they can have bad experience with gay (like my friend's friend, he hates gay because of sexual harassment..) Thank you for your recommendation, I'll check it out

    Moon Shadows

I see a man waiting for his lover, under the moonlight He's not old or dull, he's a shining star, shining brighter and brighter as time flows by I hope the one he's waiting for will soon come to him and then they can dance through many moonlight nights ^ ^ ^ Just my thought after I read

    Epilogue

I'm so frustrated with Matt I don't even want him and Mike back together. It's not fair for Mike, he suddenly becomes Matt's backup plan. Why did Matt choose Sarah? Why did Sarah have to die? The last two chapters seem like a different story.
  20. I gave up reading two stories because they have the same formula: main character are gay but suffer a lot from their dads' conservative view. The dads ignore their children, only care for their political campaigns, force their children to act properly,... And they all belong to the R Party. Before these I've already read some stories that have exactly same thing. It's tiring honestly. Like they are bad because they are R politicians. I sincerely hope the authors see some good quality and stop making every R politician the biggest villain in the world. I know they have different views, but when they use it in stories they need to minimize a little bit. But that's just me I think.. I'm too sensitive sometimes

    Coming Out

I'm trying not to cry... Thank you so much, it's the first time I have a poem written for me Your words are so beautiful, I don't know how to describe the feeling they give me...
  22. Laryn will have a long road ahead and thankfully he has his uncles helping him. I so hope you'll write a sequel for Jonne, he deserves his own hea. Vaneyl is just like a stop in Jonne's journey to his hea (of course it'd be the opposite if we read the books but I like to think it this way) so I hope he'd find his one soon.
  23. That's great, I think I should go check your story
  24. I recently found that my favorite MM book is actually fanfic of one tv show. The author just changed the MCs names, add some more details and then published. No wonder I just felt it lacked something. When you write fanfic the readers already know the story's background but if you change it into original work, you'd better explain everything. So now I'm kind of lost.. the mc I like is actually another person.

    And all the rest

I remember all the jokes I've read and heard about people who work in the street... It's cruel, they have their lives too, who are we to judge... Thank you for sharing these.
