  1. Chapter Twenty-Five – Blue Pill, Red Pill “Are we playing mime?” Carter was the first to speak again, seeing that the other was busy expressing his outrage just by standing there, petrified, with an expression of absolute horrified surprise on his perfect face. Alex scrunched his nose and pulled the chair brusquely, taking a seat without being invited to. Carter felt the need to say something and point out the rudeness, but he could bet that little mishap was going to pale in comparison

    Poor Viktor

Thank you for reading and leaving a comment! In regards to your observations, yes, you are correct. Actually, from the start, the term 'yaoi' should not be used - as far as my knowledge of its use go - but shonen-ai, or BL (boys' love), since there's nothing explicit - to some fans' disappointment, lol. And Viktor and Yuri are far from any uke/seme relationship portrayal. That leaves plenty of room for fans to imagine whatever they like, he, he. And yeah, that was the beauty of it, because there was no actual exaggerated drama, only a normal relationship, and that definitely made people fall in love with the characters. The only bad part is that I don't think we'll see a season 2. Which is pretty sad since it was a pretty damn popular series. I mean, come on, so very few fandoms are bigger, at least on AO3.
  3. He, he, yeap, next chapter there will be a confrontation! I hope Carter will keep his ground well enough to be satisfying for readers ... But something else will also happen then ... Not saying what :))
  4. Hey, thanks a lot for always dropping by and commenting! Oh, that conversation will be, I hope, pretty interesting. Again, I feel like it may not be what people expect, but Carter has a way of inhabiting my brain when I write this story, which is why I might come out of the left field, more often than not. Thanks for being a little on Carter's side, or at least understanding of his reaction. It's part of his character, and how he ends up saying the opposite of what he is thinking. Hugs!
  5. Oh, Carter might prove that he has a few things to say, too, dear godmom. After all, he didn't spend some time in the body of a diva without learning anything :)) Alex and Carter will have some interesting things to say to one another, but the focus will be on Aron, obviously! He'll be the main topic of conversation, and Carter will have to face his opponent! Glad you're still with me. And I feel that I should say that this story will not have a quick resolution. Carter will work his meandering ways to get to Aron, but, you know him by now. It's all because of his good intentions, after all. Also, I knew this chapter was going to cause some heartache. I was prepared for it. Carter just reacts when he doesn't know what to say or do. Until next time, Hugs!
  6. Ah, so sorry, Wes ... I am too under the weather, and I feel like my head is killing me. I just managed to get around to answer the comments just now. Get well soon!
  7. Oh, that's just one way of saying. Carter, at this point, feels like he's walking on eggshells, and also he's a mess after discovering he has such strong feelings for Aron that he does some stupid things just for the sake of being cautious! That's just him, I'm afraid. And, yes, you're right, Alex is not an easy to take opponent, and Carter really needs to tread carefully .... Thanks for the comment!
  8. Ah, such a cute reaction ... just like the kitten in the avatar. I'm sorry, all I can say is that I hope the waiting will be worth it. Also, that I should say that there will be some chapters until the end, so I will have to continue to beg for patience week after week
  9. Thank you for your appreciation for my stories! How Aron and Carter will get there ... well, you will have to read several more chapters
  10. Chapter Twenty-Four – Not Good at Feeling Was he really ready for a visit? Aron wasn’t a stranger, but that didn’t mean he should receive him wearing pajamas. There was too much mess lying around, too. Mumbling to himself, he began tidying up the small living room, which now, after staying at Aron’s house for a while, seemed unqualified for the ‘living’ part of the phrase. It wasn’t like he could not afford something more expensive. He just didn’t want anything else. For him, the little
  11. Yeah, I guess I should put a label on this story ... messed up, he, he!
  12. Oh, you can be sure that Alex has gone through some experience, but it's only up to him to decide if that's something he can learn from. Although Alex's POV will not be presented, through some glimpses, from Carter's POV, things will be fairly clear, I believe, even without details. Without giving spoilers, the two guys will have a convo And yes, Aron will have a hard time, my poor boy. That is no secret. But don't underestimate Alex. He's a wild card in this, but how he will play his own hand can change a lot of things. Thank you, as always, for being a consistent commenter and supporter of my story.
  13. Carter is a good guy
  14. Hey, dear godmom, you will be surprised what's going on with Alex (a little bit, he's still a twinky bitch, lol), but yeah pretty much the diva is back in town. As for Aron, well, he will try to make sense of everything And that will have the ball rolling at one point since there's no way Alex can live up to the high standards Carter imposed for his married life, he, he. Until next time, Lots of hugs, And thank you for always being here for me
  15. I should not say anything ... And I won't! But there's this moment of a reader being on the exact wave length with the person writing the story that must be noted down in history! Thank you for commenting! (And for the very logical guess - Carter's dad would be proud!)
  16. Ah, thank you for the kind comment ... Carter and Aron, they will get there, but I tend to believe that, at this point, no one can guess where my twisted mind is taking this story Hugs!
  17. Yes, I know ... But Carter needs time to adjust as that's the way things are right now. But he will talk to Aron, his guardian - he he, I like this - and things will evolve. We're back at a slower pace now that the body swap got reversed, and everyone is back home. Aron, yes, he'll have it hard ... He has always been true in his heart, and now he will get to see things more clearly. Maybe, he, he. But there's still enough road ahead, and I hope you'll continue to be in for the ride! Hugs!
  18. He, he, that was a nice string of very well pointed 'qualities' of the same person! I lol'ed! And yeah, mom knew it! Thanks for the laugh, Wes!
  19. Thank you for the comment! I was expecting at some point someone to notice this aspect about Carter. The thing is I am no specialist, but I'm basing Carter as a character - very loosely - on people I went to school with, highly intelligent individuals, but with some difficulties in expressing their emotions like 'normal' people. So I suppose he might be what people call 'in the spectrum', but I cannot know for sure. As I said, I'm not the right person to say directly such a thing and I just got inspired for him from real people - who weren't diagnosed or even evaluated as being such. As for the resolution ... hey, the road there is paved with obstacles, as well as a certain husband who won't give up that easily, lol! Expect some more ups and turns until the end that I hope will be satisfying enough! Hugs!
  20. Thanks a lot! Aron and Carter will see each other, I promise! What I don't promise is that it won't be the same rollercoaster-style type of story! Hugs!
  21. Chapter Twenty-Three – The Boy Next Door Waking up the second time, and this time in his own body, but in a similar hospital bed, proved to be an even more difficult an experience than the first time. One thing he noticed right away was that everything was hurting. Hey, it had been nice to be Alex, then, right? No pain that time. C’mon, is that the only thing you can think of? You know it’s not, and don’t you dare do the thinking for me. I’m your brain, remember? Then I’d rat
  22. Ah, I have a feeling you will be a little disappointed ... They weren't together if that is your intuition tells you, and I'm not completely off the mark here. Carter's internal mono/dialogue is something that is part of him and has been for a long time, and not something that appeared as a result of the accident. It is part of his personality and I hope that, until the end, it will become clear why he behaves in this manner. So, Alex might not have learned much, or, he might have learned something different. Since the story is completely told from Carter's POV, except for what Alex will volunteer to show or say, nothing else will transpire. And now, hoping that I did not put you off the story completely, I want to thank you for commenting and for your praise! It is always interesting to discover how what I write is interpreted by those who read it. Cheers!
  23. I always update on Sunday, so in a few days, the next chappie will be up.
  24. Hey, thanks! Alex will, ahem, have some reactions. That will certainly not make anyone feeling more inclined to like him, though, lol! As for poor Aron ... sigh.
  25. Ha, ha, that's one hell of a reaction!
