Good point on noticing Aron's tendency in bedroom affairs. But, you may be surprised what that really means and in what roundabout way Aron got to that. Carter really needs to get out of that river you mentioned last time, or he might just drown, lol. Yeah, you're totally right, his brain is the one 'making' him do stuff (ahem, gay stuff). The title is all on me, and by the way my notes look at this point, it's safe to say that I will reveal its meaning in the last chapter. Yes, I know, I am that evil, ha, ha. But I will leave breadcrumbs along the way, and I think people will figure out what's all about until I reach the finish line with these characters and this story. Yes, Carter will have to face his husband when he gets home, he, he. He'll have a little detour, which will take the entire next chapter, but, when in Wonderland, detours are the norm, right? No, it's not a dumb question, but, as Carter wondered about this, even from the beginning, he has no other reason but that he doubts he would be believed and considered crazy instead. At the same time, Aron's POV would give away too much and I'm evil incarnate and I want you all to suffer! Just kidding. But it truly serves the Mystery tag, the lack of any other characters' POVs. And yes, poor Carter ... But there's always a reward for trying to do the right thing, right?

More as a joke, I once read a forum thread in which writers were debating, sort of, this topic, wondering how far a niche they should go to drive and draw readers' attention. Someone offered, on a funny note, that maybe a story with gay zombies would be 'fringey' enough to rise interest. Well, one might think that not such story was ever written, but, surprise, it seems there is. It is not a story in the literary sense, as it is a manga (a Japanese comics), and it's called BL of the Dead! While this might sound ludicrous, and I haven't read it, it looks like it's a pretty intense storyline that deals with tragedy and similar topics.

Oh, no, by all means, speculate away! Just kidding! Whether my revelations are a surprise or confirm your suspicions, I will still be glad!

The thing with writing a story from a single point of view is that it is impossible to know what the other characters are really thinking. Yes, you are right, Aron is not a shallow person, and he didn't just fall for Alex's good looks.
