Well, at least my character is not a Bishop, lol! But I do agree on some people and their apparent inabilities to behave properly. It is, after all, about how much respect one has for himself or herself as a human being. As the Ring of Gyges myth teaches us, present someone with the opportunity to do anything without fear of consequences, and let's watch what happens. Glad to see you returning to the tale!

Thank you for taking the time to comment, nonetheless! I will reply to all of your comments, as I usually strive to do for all that I get. Yes, I know. The confusion. (Sigh). Maybe I should rename this story, lol!

Ha, ha, I might recommend a break ... Carter's adventures might follow the sinuous path of a quirky and one of a kind rollercoaster. I'm glad to see readers getting so invested. Just be warned! The plot only gets more and more convoluted from this point onward.

Stiff, Stiff, Stiffer
Laura S. Fox commented on Laura S. Fox's story chapter in Stiff, Stiff, Stiffer
Thank you! Yes, indeed, I might have a profound love for cliffies! That is why my readers, and their infinite patience can only be admired! Carter is the main ingredient in this 'soup', so he will be the easiest to know. The rest get only the second hand knowledge treatment, I'm afraid! Thank you for keeping up! -
Ha, ha, yes, I did think that it would be the weirdest threesome in the history! As for the wrong people being married ... That is exactly the point! But the story will end ... You will see :))

Curioser and Curioser
Laura S. Fox commented on Laura S. Fox's story chapter in Curioser and Curioser
Ah, don't worry about snarky comments! You're actually nice, and I don't see any snarkiness, he, he. That may be true about comatose patients, but the real question is: is the body in question inhabited or not? And now feel free to call me evil, lol! -
Gay Thoughts, Gay Thoughts Everywhere
Laura S. Fox commented on Laura S. Fox's story chapter in Gay Thoughts, Gay Thoughts Everywhere
Ah, that would have been a cool twist! But this entire story is thought around Carter, and everything is his POV, regardless of what physical vessel he happens to inhabit! Yeah, Alex the diva in the body of a straight guy would have been hilarious. That's not where I'm taking this story, although my readers, like you right now, surprise me with some really interesting ideas! Thanks for the vote of confidence, nonetheless. I hope you will still enjoy the story, even if it goes in a different direction than expected. -
Ha, ha, I will really count on your trust! I know this story is a crazy little thing, but I hope all will make sense in the end! I'm glad you liked the discussion between Carter and David! Thank you for your comment!
-
Ah, didn't really thought about the password. But it could be an inside thing! David is a voice of reason, something Carter truly needs. Regarding the two other characters, they will become quite obvious, I'd say. And you already met one. He tends to be around Carter a lot. He, he, I have a knack for making people try digging deeper, while messily putting everything out in the open. But it must be the serious craziness going in this story to blame. And not my brain! Thanks for reading and commenting, as always!

Gay Thoughts, Gay Thoughts Everywhere
Laura S. Fox commented on Laura S. Fox's story chapter in Gay Thoughts, Gay Thoughts Everywhere
He, he, I like the 'keep his ducks in a row' idea. Well, Carter tends to be quite a great learner. So he only need to put his brain, and not only, ahem, to good use. Glad to see you're enjoying the story! -
He, he, it looks like I have a way of making people trying to guess everything. David does see some things, but he cannot imagine the unimaginable, which is that Alex isn't really Alex. Except for Carter and two other characters, the rest of the people populating this story are governed by the same rules as the 'real world'. So they don't believe in Wonderland and body swaps. They don't even think about such things. Aron might be too happy to get too suspicious. There is some other reason for that, too. And yes, he does confide in David, because now, David is his best friend. Thank you for commenting!

Waking Up Is Hard To Do
Laura S. Fox commented on Laura S. Fox's story chapter in Waking Up Is Hard To Do
Thank you, that's great! You have plenty of chappies to read! -
Whenever I reply to your comments, I have a big dilemma: should I press on the 'heart' or on the 'lulz' emoticon. I go for the 'heart'; although 'angels' with strange fashion sense would like to tell me otherwise, lol! And that gives you an idea about which of the paragraphs from your comment almost made me spill juice on my beloved keyboard. As for what typical hypnotists use ... well, we're in a parallel universe, for which I take full responsibility, so using dicks is totally fine, and acceptable. Wow, wow, wow, you want Simon to meet David? The poor boy. Maybe he doesn't know if he really likes BDSM! :)) All will be made clear ... ah, how many times did I say that already? Okay, I know! When you'll read 'THE END', then everything will be clear! And if not, feel free to throw virtual rotten tomatoes at me! I will endure my punishment! Thank you for the dose of laughter! And the comment, of course!
-
Ah, I seem to throw red herrings without wanting to, lol! But yes, David's comment sounds so fitting in the respective context. I meant it like David saying that finally Alex realizes his husband loves him, and wants to have sex only with him. Of course, David cannot know who truly is hidden inside Alex's body right now. Mark's identity will be revealed, and there won't be loose ends regarding him. Or at all, I hope! Thank you for commenting!

He, he, that's an interesting thought!

He, he, my dear godmother ... I know how things may look like now. But trust me when I say that, in his heart, Aron is true. And so is Carter. That's why their coming together, in these strange circumstances, shows what they truly feel. So when the push will come to shove, the true feelings will emerge just as well. This story must be the craziest thing I have ever written in my life, so it's a bit strange, yet rewarding, that people who read it, go somehow through the same stages I'm going while writing it, lol. While everybody's grabbing their popcorn and start reading, sometimes needing to react like that 'cereal guy' meme, I feel tempted to grab a chair, sit next to them, and do the same. I know I must ask a lot from readers to trust me. But, there will be a HEA, and yeah, I'm not saying that for spoilers' sake. It's how I roll, my MO. I know how robbed I feel when I'm reading some story and there's no HEA, so I'm not going to do that to people who take their precious time to read my stories. Or to myself! I cannot write something sad or dissatisfying! I will want to slap myself then! Or I'll cry, which can be dangerous! What I want to say, without going that much in circles, is that I have the story all figured out, until the end. My notes say so, lol! There will be explanations on Aron's actions, and most of all, his personality, and what makes him do this or that. That time will come. But, of course, if I manage to make this crazy story believable is still a test. And you will be the judge, as the reader! With an R! I've read Alice about ten times in my life. It's one of my favorites, and my husband doesn't get it why, lol! He says Alice must have eaten some strange, strange mushrooms! But it somehow resonates with me, and my idea of a fantasy land, of a different reality, where everything can be upside down, but still okay. Thank you so much for reading and commenting, as always! Hugs!
-
He, he, thanks, Wes! No, David didn't have anything to do with the switch! It was, in a way, all Carter's doing, of course, without him knowing that! I'm saying that, with no fear of spoilers, trust me! Thanks for commenting, as usual!

Chapter Nineteen - The Shape of Truth They stumbled inside, laughing and joking, and somehow ended on the carpet in the living room. The game had been incredible, they had stuffed their faces with hot dogs and they had spent their evening in a dive, drinking and singing with other fans. “Fuck, this was the most amazing night out in forever, Alex,” Aron said breathily, as somehow he managed to disentangle himself from Carter’s limbs, only to adjust his position and make his placeholder o

Hey, it's a totally efficient diet! Plastic won't make you fat, or would it ...? As for Carter talking to himself, well, he needs to rely on someone who's just as quirky as he is. It's a safe bet! A value system ... For Carter? It should include so many things, I'm afraid it's not going to work :)) Like don't spank your co-workers even if they beg you with their sweet brown puppy eyes. Aron won't question anything at this moment. He's happy his husband is a totally different person (he, he, truer words have never been spoken, right?) And lastly, Taz is not that imaginary You'll see what I mean. Thanks for the funny comment! It made my day!
-
He, he, Carter is just talking to himself, I won't make a secret out of that. Although it might look like there are more people in there. It's a way for Carter to try to reason with himself, as he often finds dilemmas to fight, and doing that alone is not that fun. Glad you noticed the talk around the golden retriever, everyone will meet the lovely pooch later on And Mark ... well, that's how a good assistant should act, right? Aron's 'cheating' will be revealed next time. I think it's time to make everything bright and clear Thanks for the comment, it's much appreciated!

Hey, I know you! Glad to see you here and enjoying this story!

Ha, ha, poor Simon! Why? You have quite the sense of humor, Wes!

Thanks a lot, dear godmother. Yes, it is all a normal day in Wonderland. It will go on a little like this for a few more chapters. So enjoy the calm - relative term, I know - while it lasts Yes, the doggie is not there by accident, nor it's his name. Until next time!
