Just a little nit picky? Lol. I can't spend too much time on the logistics of an investigation. The story needs to move forward so some things have to give. Giles can't just turn a human into a shifter. In my world it can only be done through a mating bond.

Who's to say Giles doesn't have a pack member on the police force? I know at some point in a future chapter there's an explanation for why Corbin's ranch was targeted but I don't remember which chapter.
