Perhaps a warning in the intro might be appropriate. Well-written but some might feel uncomfortable, as I did, reading.

Mark’s creative ingenuity seems to know no bounds. In three chapters it seems that Northern Exposure was a long, long time ago. a midweek dose of Granger et al is a real pick me up.. Such a great read!!

Totally agree and thanks for your US perspective. For me as a Brit the only accent I don’t care for is a harsh southern African. But if you give me someone from the Deep South I just loooove the accent. Your story is great. Thank you xx

Yes, my experience of 20 yrs here in Spain is that speakers of “castellano” tend to look down their noses at those who speak “español” with Latin American accents and different pronunciation etc. Strange but perhaps the same is true of different English accents etc, on a less technical note, Im really enjoying this story. Thanks

You should try our director of HR - sorry of personnel development…. 84 working days until I can meaningfully share what I feel about being hugged and kissed whenever we meet (Spain allows body space invasions 👿). after my last pay check clears, of course! it’s a great piece of dialogue writing. I HATE Mr B having been mistaken for him by a US immigration official who wanted “my autograph”… “But I fixed the queue to get you autograph..” Obviously, I changed my hairstyle, glasses etc., even more so after a Mr B film was shown on a flight to Spain and people thought I was the f***ing Mr B***. on a more oriented comment… great chp…. 🤩- 14 comments

We all know the show and the acidic tongue of the presenter and here we have the show, round by round, but this time with supposedly bright teenagers.the highlight of the story for lies in the excellent dialogue created by the author. it’s a fun, lightweight ride, perfect to start the weekend. Well done!

Never have, nor never would, fly Ry***ir. The ceo is a s*** and the add on costs are unbelievable. He even floated the idea of a 1€ charge to go to the loo. Glad the guys finally chose wisely! Not sure why Oslo was their choice but I’m jealous as I’ve never been to Scandinavia. Good, if difficult chp.

Asking myself why I like this so much? On the one hand I loved the original series but, more importantly, I think it is the great quality of the writing. Dialogue is not easy but our author has proved round after round that he dominates this skill. The plot is great but the writing even better. Bravo 👏
