Yes, exactly. Robert is adding to and developing the religious theme. From the bitterness and exclusivity of the Christian sects of 19-century Wales to a way to find a simpler, open and accepting form of Christianity. I’m very much enjoying his two stories being serialised at the moment but this one has the edge for me at the moment. We readers are being spoilt, rotten. Thanks 🙏 -

A very insightful comment. This story is working on many levels and the author manages to avoid getting on a soap box. Some v subtle writing going on here. Every year I receive an invitation to Magdalen College, Oxford’s Christmas carols. It’s never been possible but if anything could bring me back to “faith” it would be that or a choral evensong from King’s in the other place….. im finding this story v moving and at time uncomfortable so the author is doing a good job. Whirlwind, Rollercoaster, runaway train, emotional tsunami. You get the idea. This is my 150th review on GA and this book is high up on the originality stakes.. No smooth, Martini-drinking Bond here. Greg, in desperation, takes a new step, which leads to another one, and to another. He and his readers face some tough moral issues but the author warns us appropriately, and the violence is always integral to the story, though seemingly gratuitous on the part of certain bad gays. Anyway, I will be back, if not to write Lawrence my 151st review; I will allow him some time to finish Book 2!, but I will be waiting to see how life treats Greg, or more importantly, how he treats life, THANK YOU 🙏

Somehow I lost track of this story but….. I’M BACK !!!!!! and really enjoying it, those the patisserie prices are making me swoon 😱. Good work @LJCC. I’m intrigued.

Again, I totally agree with you @PrivateTim…. It’s a great, story and the author seems to get the teenage angst perfectly. At times Rory sounds like one of my teenage students 😱….

Although Brad remains many, many times richer, it may give Jake more financial security than his small law firm did. It would certainly ease my insecurities if my partner was that much richer.
