Sometimes less is more and this short story is a good example. Set in 1907 in London we follow the protagonist on another journey into his personal hell.
This is a very thought-provoking read and makes one wonder how much organized religion still has to answer for.
Highly recommended.
We are all in agreement that this was a really good chp with some striking developments. Great work Mark. I too was hoping against hope for a redemption scene for Caroline…. But….
Very enjoyable, thanks ☺️
But we are inspired by you and your characters in this story. I mean CJ and Will are an inspiring couple…… just kidding I definitely don’t want to be put outside by mrsG! 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
A very powerful chp which caught me out completely. I think it is one of the best that Laura has written. And now, how do we get the lovers back together?
great stuff !
My memories are tarnished by travelling daily to King’s College and getting trapped in smoking carriages, plus the lack of air con. Frequency etc are fabulous but access for limited physical ability is dire. You need to try Valencia’s metro! I’ll treat you to a travelcard 🤗
A tense but fun chp showing, Inter Alia, the horror that is the London Underground and the joys of Eurostar. It all appears to be going a bit too smoothly and I’m a bit nervous of what might happen next. I agree with privatetim that it’s possible that Steff etc., might be buying up Buck industries….
another intriguing chapter. Thank you maestro Mark. 🤗
