  2. Well I prefer to laugh and have fun, there's enough miserable shite going on in both mine and the wider world.

    Scuba Diving

What a great underwater adventure, I was expecting something sinister but this was far better. Discovering an underwater treasure from a galleon sunk long ago is an amazing find and one that has the potential to do a lot of good for the Cuban government and people. It will certainly put CJ and Owen in the spotlight again and no doubt make them popular with many of the important 'movers and shakers' in both the USA and Cuba. As with all of the CJ stories I will be a bit disappointed when it comes to an end but I'll take heart in knowing that another will be on its way to us soon, thanks Carlos for another great chapter.
  4. Brilliant, just brilliant, I loved reading this story. Oh, sorry my fellow readers you don't know what I'm talking about, do you. Well, read it like I did, I'm sure you will enjoy it. It's a story about a boy, Daniele, who is still classed as the 'newbie' even after living in the town for two years. He eventually starts to make friends while still writing his adventure/super hero stories and transforms from a quiet timid boy into someone with confidence and gaining his own circle of friends. What he doesn't know is the real adventure that this will take him on, an adventure that's laced with secrecy, intrigue and some danger. It's so unreal that it's believable. Dani and his story is a great addition to the Ravello Series and I loved it, I'm sure you will too if read it. Another five star rated story that I recommend.
  5. This actually reminds me of someone 🤔
  6. What a great story of life back in the days of the old wild west and what life was like for gay men living in those times. Headstall describes his characters in a way that helps you picture them, he writes their dialogue as authentically as possible which helps to make them feel real. Location descriptions draw you in so that you are drawn in and almost feel as though you are there with the characters. It's easy to feel that you are there witnessing events as they unfold, drawing you in to this story. I'm not going to give away any story details, I just recommend that you read this story, I think you will be drawn in and as engrossed as I was, feeling as though you really know the characters. A recommended story that is deserving of the five star rating that it has been given.
  7. James Carnarvon is becoming one of my favourite authors, the 'Ravello Series' is enthralling with each story being a building block for the next as well as being a great story in its own right. Together We Can Fly is a wonderful story of two boys who are discovering themselves and their relationship, as is the case for many boys they are 'taking the journey at different speeds but they do have the same destination', I hope that makes sense to you as it does to me. They start as their 'journey' as boys and end it as young men, you get to experience the hopes and dreams, the angst and uncertainty, and a bit of exciting action and adventure as you read their story. I'm not going to give anything away as I want you to enjoy the story as I have. This is a five star enjoyable and recommended read.
  8. Hello my friend, I hope your cold - or what ever it is - starts clearing up soon, sending good vibes your way.
  9. Thanks Albert, that helps to brighten the day. Manchester is a city that has it's problems just like any city, but believe it or not it is still a wonderful place to live and has so much to offer. It is vibrant and colourful with an eclectic mix of people that live here, on the whole it an accepting place to live with a lively nightlife scene and for those that are interested it has a fascinating history.
  10. Aloha Albert, I hope you are having a good Sunday and the weather is good for you, it's wet and miserable here in Manchester.
  11. and then you get this

There is not much I can add to the comments already left, Thanks Carlos for another great chapter to a great story. Just a thought for everyone that's out for Jay's blood, he hasn't left Cuba yet so anything could still happen, but he's pissed off most people he's come in to contact with so it doesn't have to be CJ or Owen to stick it to him royally, lol.
  14. It looks like Drew the ban has just been ignored, I wonder what the punishment is ✋
  15. It looks like I missed it all today, but hey at least I had a sexy Doc checking my bloody pressure, every time he checked it had gone up lol
  16. Yeah, he's usually 'pulling' his 'pudding'
  17. I'm off to bed now but I'll post pic of the suits later in the day, that is if you post a pic of the above mentioned undies.
  18. He keeps a spare suit at my place, so does Captain America
  19. Wow, such a heartfelt story of an uncertain teen, he loses his friend and goes through his own few days of teenage hell laced with guilt. He finds and regains his friend, hopefully they will continue to be friends. But you need to read to discover what happens on his journey of those few short days. This is a companion story to 'Toto' so you need to read it to fully understand the events of those days, trust me you won't regret it. I heartily recommend all of the stories in the 'Ravello Series', they are stories of teenage angst which is easy to understand but must be read to be appreciated.

  20. What a beautiful story. A boy who lives in an Italian mountain village is discovering himself, in the process he overcomes difficulties with his father, a single parent, with the help of his new found friends. It's true to say you find out who your friends are when really need them the most, it's also true to say it sometimes takes a village to bring up a child, or just part of the village in this case. Read his story of discovery and self acceptance and you will be moved by his experience. This is a heartwarming story that I recommend. It is not necessary to read the prequel 'The Summer of The Firefly' as this story stands well on it's own, but it will enhance your enjoyment if you do, you will then read two very good stories that are worth investing your time in.
