I'm still loving this story, I look forward to each chapter.
It's good to see that the younger ones are starting to settle and to see the twins helping to look after the younger siblings. But I hope you realise that the way you have written it I still had lump in my throat and read through misty eyes, you bad man you, lol 😀
I don't think any review can do this story justice, it's brilliant, full of suspense and drama. My advice to anyone reading the reviews is to read it, be prepared for a lot of drama and suspense. Did I say it's brilliant? I did, well I'll say it again it's brilliant, read it.
Having read CDMX, and all of the stories in the CJ series, I can honestly say that I enjoyed reading every chapter. The writing skills of @Carlos Hazday are to be admired. Carlos doesn't just describe a scene he makes you feel as though you are there, he doesn't just create a character he 'builds' them into somebody that feels real. For anyone that hasn't read CDMX and his other stories I can only suggest that you read them, they all make an excellent read. I'm sure that his other followers will agree with me.
This is a fascinating drama that is interlaced with love, it draws you in from first chapter right through to the end with the twists and turns of the underlying plot. This a story I recommend.
Most people think that anxiety attacks are brought on by over excitement or something bad happening at the time, while that can be true it is not always true, an anxiety attack can be brought on by seemingly trivial things. Something that can be trivial to many can often be the trigger for someones anxiety, the triggers can me many and varied, it is not the same for everyone.
I too live close to Manchester city centre, I often go to see the statue of Alan Turing in Sackville Gardens and get upset when at times his statue has been vandalised by things like spray paint etc. Being sat where he is I'm sure if the the statue could talk he would now have many a tale to tell of what he's 'seen', sometimes people who have had too much to drink can be seen sat next to him talking, probably pouring out their hearts and inner-most thoughts in times of trouble. In this way we should consider Alan Turing as still and currently contributing to society, in this way he is still being a great man and I believe that his statue is very fitting tribute to a great man.
You're right in many ways it was a poor decision, but one made with the best of intentions. There is no doubt it will make a difference to the guests, hopefully not too much damage has been done.
Thank you for continuing to read and I hope that you are enjoying the story, your reactions and comments are also appreciated.
Your comments are really appreciated, thank you. John/Christian's story is one that has a lot of sorrow in it but it also contains a lot of the most important thing that we all need and that is unconditional love. All of those experiences are what made him into the man he is and will continue to be. Jeff is the man who is behind the original concept of The Boot, Christian's support helped to take things to another level. With Christian's values he would not wish to take any of the credit away from Jeff.
Thank you @CincyKris for the comments, my father wrote from his heart and even though he was not perfect he was a good man. We are getting closer to the shelter but there are still a couple of chapters to go in John/Christian's story, and as for the Simon's of this world, well I'm sure that most of us have met one or two in our time.
