  5. Although many countries advise against it Israel has a lot to offer by way of tourist attractions, and if you can avoid the trouble spots it can be a very enjoyable holiday/vacation destination. As you point out Jacob, and his colleagues are enjoying the assignment and even joining in on the fun ensuring good cover. Isaac has his work cut out, hopefully, Kevin's idea, whatever it is, will help. But will it be enough?
  6. I'm happy that you see the bond being formed between Ian, Kevin and Joseph, have you noticed that Jacob appears to be forming a bond with Joseph too? I could say that you are being pessimistic waiting for problems to occur, but I really think you are being realistic. Few things in life are as easy and simplistic as we would like them to be, but what can or will go wrong? What problems are around the corner?
  7. After a lunch of chicken schnitzel followed by baklava, the lads returned to Isaac's home in the SUV driven by Jacob. They headed back through the crowded streets filled with aggressive, inconsiderate drivers. The journey was uneventful if you ignored the extra dent and scratch inflicted on the large SUV by an impatient driver in Jerusalem's traffic. The impatient and overly aggressive driver inside the car became meek-mannered when he stepped out of the vehicle to face Jacob. Kevin and Ian were
  8. Happy Birthday @raven1 my dear friend, I wish you all the best and hope you and Aod enjoy celebrating.
  9. I read this story in one go and didn't stop to comment on each chapter. I was too engrossed and couldn't wait to read what happened next. I don't want to spoil the story for you, but I will say this - get ready with a box of tissues. Many chapters will make you cry, some out of sadness and some out of joy. The story is so captivating, and it's one of the best I've ever read. It moved me to tears, and I was sobbing uncontrollably. It made me shiver, and my heart was beating fast. I assure you that this story will touch your heart too, but you won't regret reading it. This story deserves more than a five-star rating and is highly recommended. Please read it!
  10. Something tells me that, like me, you have had to deal with the legalese and incessant paperwork that is required in many legal matters. Hopefully, Isaac, or one of his colleagues can find a way to slice through it easily. ๐Ÿคž
  11. ๐ŸคžI've got my fingers crossed that they have the best-qualified help if they encounter any problems. ๐Ÿคž
  12. Thank you Terry for the wonderful comment, I hope you will enjoy this version more as there is added dialogue and description in this rewritten version. Some chapters required more work than others with the help of @raven1.
  13. I'm so happy that you are enjoying the story @Anton_Cloche, and yes it does look promising. But we have all heard of Murphy's law, or sod's law as others may know it. Lets hope they don't experience any of that, it could prove to be an obstacle. ๐Ÿคž
  14. Everything does look good, doesn't it? I don't know about you but I have my fingers crossed that they don't come across any of the many pitfalls that could scupper their plans. ๐Ÿคž
  15. Isaac and Shamira looked cautiously optimistic as Ian and Kevin bonded with Joseph. They also had bonded with Joseph and were delighted to see his bright smile and excitement as he talked with the two men. This was the first time they had seen him genuinely happy and smiling. It was plain for anyone to see that a bond was quickly forming. Now, the work could begin to realise Avi Emanuelโ€™s dream. They all had to make sure that this boy remained happy and safe. Shamira had prepared a light me

    Meeting Joseph

I am not an overly religious person but I do hope and pray for a peaceful resolution to the troubles in the region for the sake of all the innocent people who live there. Especially for the sake of the children who are the people who will face the prospect of rebuilding from the ruins of current events. My heart goes out to the innocents on all sides who have lost their lives and to their families, friends and loved ones.

    Preparations

A bit scared? I'll bet he is absolutely terrified after everything he has been through. I'm hoping Ian and Kevin can ease his fears.
  19. How could I forget. The Major's story is told in Lost Soul - The Ox, which may give a clue or two, or maybe it won't.
