Oh, man - there are so many! The Road, by Cormac McCarthy, for it's stark, absolutely gut wrenching journey, start to finish. the Edge of Grace, by Christa Allen - it's the book I gave my mom when she finally figured out that it wasn't a phase. Too many to try to list them here, but great topic!!

I will start by saying that I am, at least, a voracious reader. I do not watch TV, except for the weather occasionally. I much prefer the radio on in the background and a good book. The problem is, that I cannot seem to find a good selection (and variety) of quality gay fiction that isn't just total porn. Not that I'm opposed to porn - not at all. But, for example, right now I have 3 books on Kindle, several stories here and on other sites and two print books that I am reading. I need more options, and google and Amazon are pretty much all porn, all the time when it comes to anything at related. Does anyone have any alternatives or any idea where to find new reading material?

I'm in northeast Mississippi (the land of Elvis and Jesus), and there is absolutely zero community here beyond Grindr. There are no bars, no gathering places, and you get the impression that if there were, pepe would not go there. I moved here from Dallas, which has a huge, thriving, ALIVE LGBT community, very active and very much inclusive. I miss it terribly! -

Yeah, but it's my favorite word!! It has so many uses and connotations. It's a very versatile word, and depending on context and inflection, can have a wide variety of meanings!

Ok, dude (and I know, it's dudette, lol), this one ticks a lot of boxes for me. First, I love to dive into a completely new universe, right at the "big bang", so to speak - and madam, you did not disappoint me here! I've literally been reading this on my smoke breaks, lunch breaks and as soon as I'm off work for the last three days. I've slept about 9 hours in that time. Because I just HAD TO KNOW what happened next. Thank you, for sharing such a wonderful (though also horrifying and completely fucked up) tale with us. You bring a depth and a sense of the real to your characters that very few authors accomplish. More, please!!

Ok, so I've been a fan of shifter stories for a pretty long while now, and this among the best I've read. I read a LOT of stories here and on other sites, and I have to say that you're a fantastic story teller, and I appreciate the attention to detail and the way the story wove itself together from two different points if view to a singular focus. Thank you for sharing it with us, and I can't wait for the next book!!

I tend to wait until I've read an entire story before I comment or review anything, and in this case, I read three stories before I started my reviews. I know very little about the BDSM community, but I love the way these guys interact with each other, and with their friends and families. I found it realistic, in that the people are not perfect, and refreshing, in that it's a new subject for me, so I'm a bit curious. Bring on the next book, please!!

Another amazing tale from one of my favorite authors! I loved this one, start to finish, for a great many reasons, not the least of which is the dedication to our service men and women that Carlos shows in all of his stories. The message of hope, faith and perseverance in Ranger is truly special. Thank you, Carlos!

I'll admit to being biased, because I simply love everything I've read from Carlos. But, that aside, I really, truly liked this story. It's fun, light hearted, slightly (cough) sarcastic, and provides us with an in depth look at a character that I've really liked before. Thank you, Carlos, and I look forward to whatever is next!
