All good points but your first point brings up a question Huntington's 300 men showing up and starting a battle will draw attention maybe to the point of having the State Guard (National Guard?) being called.I doubt Huntington would want to call any kind of attention to this to outsiders so it may limit the way they would go about this I assume Sebastian and his pack will consider this also.

@ReaderPaul stole my thunder I was going to ask the same thing.One he forgot to mention is he was told not to speak Manx at all while in Australia. Why? It's a little more understandable why the parents didn't give any details of why they split but something tells me that story is a doozy

I have to say @Geron Kees has me more baffled then usual I know my reaction will likely be wrong but here goes. Akeeri is the leaf man why has he taken that appearance I have no idea but one reason maybe he wants to get in the house could be when the house was moved there it somehow trapped Rimzi and now Akeeri want to get inside to get Rimzi and take him back....Yeah I know sounds lame but that's the best I can do with what we been told this chapter very fascinating though. Another alternative? Rimzi is political right? Maybe he's the Leaf Man another version of an environmentalist extremist....okay I'll stop now I really have no clue.

No explanation was given to how Louise died I'm sure you'll tell us next chapter in the meantime I'll guess Louise was the closest thing to a wild child they had when she went to California I bet whatever happened was lifestyle related. GG is probably doing something like what the Catholic church refers to as Purgatory before Armand could see Louise. Just my guess. I guess it was GG who told Carl to paint that angel.When it's time for Colin or Armand I guess GG will tell Carl to paint an angel then also only that time Carl will know why

That was so awesome that you had Theo say "Hi" at the end of the chapter. Interesting how Enya has this rapport with the pups that would indicate she is young herself not too far removed from their age.It was perfect how you used her ability to detect a lie as a way to reassure the pups

While he was shocked to learn the vile lion shifter was stealthily amassing an army in Russia's far eastern wild terrain.To me that's proof this story is in an alternate universe if this was our world Huntington's men would have ended up in the middle of the war over there. I guess you and Gnomie share the same universe since Jay Petermeyer was mentioned in the previous story.

Would Frank and the Bimbo freak out the wolves? Whoever (or whatever? is there)Frank and the Bimbo presence may have stopped what ever plans the intruder had. I'm probably wrong but I'm thinking this figure was once part of the forest in some way and this house being there is doing something to disturb something in the surroundings just a guess there is still a lot to find out. I apologize for what I'm about to type. Mildred said "The leafy man will circle the house," Mildred continued, with certainty. "It will take several minutes. And then he will reappear at the front door, and knock another four times. And then he will leave" So in other words he will make like a tree and leave....Sorry

I know you lose your friends and loved ones when you get older but Colin's mom and Pat so close together. It is comforting to know all the kids at the home called her Aunt Pat. One thing Armand and Colin should do right now is secure the future of the home. I know Tommy will run the place when they pass on but they should get together with the original four boys and plan for how the place is going to run and by who in the distant future

It has been mentioned Bryson's Mom and Brothers coming to visit I won't make this a prediction but I can see this happening . They tell Daddy dearest a cover story and then he hires a P.I. to follow them. -
