Over 80% of this the readers didn't see coming but one thing the readers DID see coming was Zampa was going to play a big part in this. Arguably without Zampa Harris gets away with everything.Would they have found USB drives otherwise? Or the cameras?

In the last chapter I was beginning to have suspicions about Harris not because I am so smart because I'm not but because of all the comments in Ash and Ember that referenced Harris so I had a clue . I have to go back now a look at those comments again . It was genius how when the story followed Harris and Stefano doings they had valid thoughts but absolutely no clue to why they were doing it Brillant Bullet proof vest does make sense for Timothy after the conversation with Robin I do recall Timothy going into the trunk of his car a "piece of equipment" How well does Corbin know anatomy? He knew enough so the bullet would go through and through could he know enough to avoid or minimize hitting a vital organ. I'm guessing not. All along we assumed Harris was competent (though dirty) but maybe he isn't Stefano was always a few steps (or more) ahead of him. And I would have to think with not much digging he could have discovered Stefano's family connection to Luca

A lot of stuff revealed here my random thought in my last chapter comment turned out to be true .Dumb luck A couple of things just don't add up to me.If the Giovanni Family means to harm Corbin I don't think Luca would have had everyone at the restaurant bow to Corbin. And Jenoah did exactly what Corbin asked of him and it appears Jenoah did nothing hinky. I have a feeling something isn't as it seems

One of Dorf's secret talents will reveal itself and save the day.If I'm right it will be fun to see what it is. "which would include at least one change of undergarment." After what they already been through and witnessed I think they are going to need multiple changes of undergarments

I had wondered why Stefano up until this chapter made no mention of Luca's family being in town. Could it be Stefano is actually related to Luca in some way? It would explain Luca's odd attention to Corbin and how he was always steps ahead of Harris

James learned well from Marcel who then has apparently has passed it on to Peter,Jimmy and Billy. Warning if you haven't read the chapter yet don't do it on an empty stomach

Wow I would have loved to see that encounter created visually by a talented filmmaker with all of Hollywoods special effects unfortunately they probably wouldn't include Jamie and Garvin being naked. For lack of a better word the mind control Jamie was under is it still there?And did that contribute to the brief argument Jamie and Gavin had. Silas said "It is good to be standing in defense of something again." what was he in the past? Dorf and Silas said the from their perspective the encounter only lated a few moments. But look at how many words you used to describe everything no wonder your chapter are long.This isn't another War and Peace is it😄

Did you notice what we didn't see this chapter? I wonder what Stefano is up to? I would think that's because Stefano HAS to be aware of Luca'a family in town and he has even more reason to be deliberate On original Star Trek episodes only non regular characters died usually a member of the enterprise crew. With that kind of thinking in mind the last thing Harris said to Timothy in their phone call was "Be safe" I immediately thought uh oh Timothy is toast

Corbin is concerned about Paul being sucked into his mess with Luca's family but looking at it from Luca's perspective is it in his family's best interest to kill a first responder firefighter? Especially after Paul just might have helped stop the fire from spreading to Hailey and therefore saving their restaurant. Everyone is assuming Robin and Stefano are in cahoots. I'm thinking about what Harris was thinking of when in his thought he knowss Stefano will find Corbin.So is it possible Robin is really working with Harris to set up Stefano?

All your smart readers have come up with all the plausible theories I would have thought of.I'll add a thought nobody has mentioned (yet) You refer to how would Luca react if he knew what Corbin did? Now usually he would be furious with somebody who did that but is it possible Luca respects the reason why Corbin did that? When Corbin and Paul left the restaurant everybody bowed as Corbin passed obviously at Luca's request would Luca so that with someone he's planning to kill. I don't know Mafia etiquette but I would think not. BTW is Bruce smart enough to know what kind of family his new BF is in?

As far as Luca knowing about Paul I bet Luca scouted the town before they made thier move it would not surprise me if they know all about Paul,Karen and anyone else who stands out. As far as who is Stefano speaking to I bet Idaho has a lot of small places where people in WP go he most likely figured out who to talk to Although this would not be smart I prpbably would have done the same thing Corbin did with the bobcat(And I'm a dog person not a cat person) but jeez I know I wouldn't be able to keep it

I'm going to say something that maybe is obvious this conference that Thorvil is at how important is it? After finding out more of what they are up against is there a way for Jamie to communicate with Thorvil? Or should he transport himself to the conference? This now sounds like all hands on deck situation including Thorvil

So here's what MAY happen Roni or Seth may get Blake to take Jennifer to the dance while Roni gets Julie to go with Sherman that means all the relevant characters are going to be at the dance. If that happen Roni won't be able to not flirt with Julie while Blake may flirt with Seth .Insanely jealous Craig will see this and react. Even if he manages to restraint himself from not making too big of scene in front of everybody(not guaranteed BTW) Stacy will notice something and even her dumb ass will know something is up. The goal was for Corbin to blend into the town and jus like any other Joe Blow but now he's a partner in a local popular coffee shop.Granted Hailey may be out in the sticks and but he now has a higher profile it may be just enough difference for Stefano to find him. Corbin has to make sure that Karen doesn't put his image on their website etc. This is wishful thinking but could the new "Family" in town have a beef with Stefano and they take care of him, Would be an interesting twist BTW hope the Coffee business really is profitable because $50,000 is not a lot of money these days

When Corbin showed up at the construction site was there something about the way family interacted that distinguished them as a mafia family as opposed to just some random Italian family? I guess Corbin would notice something. Otherwise it looks like he's giving into a stereotype although under the circumstances it's understandable.

I'm surprised none of your astute readers didn't mention this but Paul's comment “Well, I don’t have the right to ask it of you, but I’d like if it stayed that way.” Now we know Bruce has noticed Corbin more then a little bit what do you want to bet at the coffee shop Paul will walk in see Corbin and Bruce conversing and exchanging a smile and Paul will jump to the wrong conclusion

I have a good friend who was a cop and one of the first things he did was did a background check on me just for the hell of it.He told me I was clean ..gee thanks. I bring this up because I can picture Paul doing that on Corbin.Now obviously nothing about Corbin's former life is going to come up but after seeing the background check will Paul think "this seems too neat and clean not even a parking ticket.It's almost like he's another person hmm🤔"

As long as Stefano is out there Corbin is not in the clear but Harris is so good at his job and has Corbin's back and Corbin picked a place that's so remote there's no way Stefano can find him...........OK you can stop laughing now
