I totally concur with all the comments about the Grandpa's😄 Something they said“And we can successfully blend in with any group that grew up in the 40s, 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, two thousands, and the teens, and we’re currently working on the 20s. I'm impressed by what you can learn from reading these chapters. In the previous chapter there were some details about the Navaho and Apaches tribes and their dealings with the Army that I didn't know.And I never knew opossums were immune to poisonous snake bites.You can almost justify letting your kids read this based on being educational material......well I guess the gay sex gets in the way of that but otherwise..

We find out the boy in the hospital is named Blake. His Parents show up and are angry in a heavy handed way not caring that they are being overheard.It's possible Blake is some kind of troublemaker but so far he hasn't come off that way so I doubt it .I'm guessing he has been blamed for something he didn't do with the police bringing him to the hospital and all. Probably bullied I take two statements that were made first the mother saying"It's always the same,Blake. God only knows what you were doing.Well this time we've had enough".Combine that with Blake later saying "They hate me" and I conclude that his problems are gay related. Seth's Mom is definitely overstepping asking Craig to find Seth a date for the dance.She's oblivious to what an ass he is (her daughter also for that matter)And Craig comes up with this brilliant plan to hook Seth with this lesbian who mother is also doing the same thing I bet the girl has no idea this is happening. Worst part of this is it doesn't take much of an imagination to what Craig meant when at the end of the chapter when he said "You'll find out".

That's a heck of an idea to have Gavin crossover into the other story. You mentioned Preston and the team appearing again and I'm betting Jacob speaking to them will be a big reason for that. Just think if Jacob's Dad wasn't an abusive A___HOLE quite possibly none of this happens.It's more then just a child being abused which is horrible enough but also the lingering effect it continues to have in the aftermath

This felt like another Calm before the storm type chapter🤞When Wade said "Trevor avoided hanging out with you and your friends early on because we don’t even get a buzz from alcohol.” For me If I was asked to turn that would be a hugh selling point for other people I know they would react "No buzz? Then what's the point of drinking?" That bitch (The one who's name begins with a C I refuse to call her by her name now) in addition to her other horrible qualities lacks common sense.She saw how her rant against Seth caused her break-up with Trevor so why repeat that same type of rant in front of someone else? You would think that she would know that does not play well. I can think of two possibilities one she always hung around like minded people and has always gotten away with this or perhaps she mentally ill maybe something happened to her to help cause these irrational over reactions

You are so good at finding words for your characters to describe what they are thinking at any given time but especially when they have a crush on somebody. Here's what we know Steven assumed Seth and Alder didn't know each other so he introduced them and Seth said they had no classes together and no common friends except for Steven. So how does Alder know Seth name? At the very least he would have had to asked someone what's this kid name is so at the very least Alder have some interest In Seth.This is a time where a close friend would have been useful to point that out to Seth but then we wouldn't have this great story😄 This is like 3 or 4 stories I'm reading now that has a character named Seth in it. In fact there's a new story that has just begun to post by Ronyx named "Seth". Imagine that two new stories by two excellent authors starting at almost the same time. If you can OD on reading excellent stories this would be it

If seems to me school administrators have a different take on reality then the students and most of the faculty and most of the time it was wacked. This extends to when I became an adult (at least age wise) and I would see them be interviewed on the TV news and I would walk away thinking 'What planet do you live on?". Dr Davis would be a good example of this while Dr. Vu was the exception.Dr. Davis playing amateur psychologist throws out this Stockholm syndrome crap when she obviously didn't know enough about this situation to make that kind of assessment.She also seemed more worried about the optics of the situation "What will the parents thinks" all to typical of people in her position.Thankfully Tyler's eloquent and heart felt speech help cause the right thing to happen. It still says "In process" instead of complete on the story page so that's encouraging .I still think there is some story still left to write here. One thing I would like to see when this story does end I hope the author finds somebody for Travis he deserves it

I'll say it again that is an incredible group of friends( I didn't say awesome this time @Summerabbacat 😄) true Jacob revealed what his father done to him and even the angriest person would have to take that in consideration but even before Jacob said that it looked like the friends were willing to listen I attribute that to Tyler's influence to give Jacob a chance. Life is good another Ronyx story😀. My initial observations. We find out right away what a self centered piece of work Seth sister is and the scenes where they are all together with their Mom the Mom seems to ignore Seth for the most part in favor of interacting with Stacy the and seems to side with her I wonder if she's aware that she's doing that? Early indication are Craig is going to try to get some off of Seth.He was somewhat verbally abusive to Stacy (Although it seems like she might deserve it) One guess to that could be she doesn't put out and if that's the case I see Craig getting frustrated and now that he know Seth is gay and their Mom works long hours and is gone most of the day well you can guess what I'm getting at.It would a classic s--t hitting the fan Stacy finding out her twin brother who she doesn't know is gay having some kind of sex with her BF.I'm afraid Craig might physically force himself on Seth . It sounds like Craig is going to be out of hospital pretty soon so at least in the short term Seth won't be seeing that other boy after Craig is discharged Seth didn't mention anything about seeing him around school.But a good part of the chapter was spent describing the boy so we'll probably see him in a future chapter. I can already tell this is going to be good
